I wasn't sure if this would come out due to the poor lighting but I think it is legible.

Indeed. That was easier than I thought it would be.

I'll have to try harder next time.

You posted about flying out of T5 on Monday, I just checked which sunny locations were scheduled shortly before you posted.

    Top sleuthing.
I’m here on business, so the sunshine is just a bonus rather than the reason to be here.
IMHO it’s a bit too warm for work.
But I’m happy to make the best of it when the workday is over.

Was doing some training a few days back and this was next door, so figured why not grab a pic for the thread!

A hint is available via the 'today I received thread', albeit a minor hint.

I`ll give you all a small clue: it`s the soon-to-be-demolished control room at Calshot Power station, Hampshire.
    I bet quite a few have seen this but not recognised it as it`s been used in a few films and TV programmes;

`The unique round structure housing the control room for the station was used to represent the "World Control Center" building depicted in the 1975 movie Rollerball.[13]

Some scenes for the 2015 movie Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation were filmed on location at Fawley power station.

The second series of British medical comedy Green Wing featured a scene that was shot in the control room.

In the Red Dwarf (series XI) the episode "Give and Take" had a scene that was filmed inside the control room.

The 2017 Channel 4 programme Spies filmed at the station and inside the control room.

The final episode Harvest of series 4 of Endeavour used the power station and control room.

The exterior of the power station was used as a filming location for the Star Wars film Solo: A Star Wars Story.

The location was used as the extraction point for the 2018 series of Celebrity Hunted. The successful fugitives escaped by speedboat, exiting into Southampton Water. `

The chimney is due to be demolished this weekend.
It has long been a distinctive Hampshire landmark - especially for pilots as it marks the edge of Soton CTR, and can be seen from elevated vantage points all over Hampshire (if you`re high enough).

The clue was in the picture of Baker Street underground station in the arrivals thread.

If you get time there is a brilliant little motorcycle museum near the crossing. Well worth a visit.

I learned a lot about RM wall boxes and their history during the past hour, and that there are thousands of people who go around and photograph every single one they can find - just not this one.

**only just seen you posted the clear image - no help either. Nothing in there that I hadn't figured out already and not even a straight picture search from it returns anything. I am out.

Hmm.. now I’m going to have to check who commissioned it. I didn’t really think that through.

Should I disclose the location now or wait until Raffe tells us all which seat I was sat in ?

I'm struggling with it - I've tried Royal Palaces and Pugin links. A clue would be nice.
