Looks a lot like the dark blue squalematic. Slightly different dial, different minute hand and presumably different case. Nice find!

Had a few over the years but only this one remains in the collection.

One of my favourite watches and a bargain on SC

Yes it has a lot in common Dial wise with the Squalematic I think..... also quite similar to the 1521 Onda but without the wave pattern. I'm not sure if it was an early attempt at applied indices that was superseded by the Squalematic or something inspired by it.
I must say looking at the great watches being posted here, there is a fantastic range of variants, unfortunately making it entirely logical to have more than one!!!
As a Squale novice I'm ashamed to admit that I'd been so unaware of the brands history before.

What are the build quality of squale like? Are they worth the money?
Any thoughts on this ?
' The Squale Tiger is a true vintage diving watch featuring a large bezel with a red button on the side for locking the bezel. This watch is a rebuild using all original components from the 1970/80s (NOS) except for a new Swiss ETA 2892 automatic movement, along with new gaskets and a new rubber strap.
The legendary Squale Tiger line has always been a very recognizable timepiece and an eye-catcher at first glance. The Tiger case is fitted with the distinctive push–to-release button in bright red. The push-to-release button is a clever and remarkable safety-feature as unwanted impact doesn't affect the position of the bezel and the available dive-time remaining.
The bezel is beautifully polished and hand-finished to perfection with prominent position markers for easy reading and safe diving. The tough flat mineral crystal protects this timepiece up to 300 meters below sea-level or 30 atmosphere of pressure.
The Squale Tiger is powered by the tried and tested Swiss ETA 2892 automatic movement that provides reliable and accurate timekeeping under the toughest circumstances. In the end, the Tiger is a purpose-built diving watch that Squale is famous for.
Other core-values are not forgotten - being reliable, elegant, unique, and easy to service.
Please take notice that the luminicent material is aged, may not glow and the color of markers is more cream.
Squale Tiger.. oh my goodness

Are Squale still selling the tiger as NOS? They have had them on sale for years (since they first starting selling NOS watches)
I like them as a kind of a smaller Ploprof, they only thing I dislike is the different sized lume plots at on the top and bottom halves of the dial.
Maybe you might like this version better?

I put mine on a silicone ladder strap though I'll also be trying a silicone tropic.

The limited edition Drass Galeazzi reminds me of the Tile factors PRS 50b fifty fathoms homage I had some years ago...only nicer. Very nice indeed.
Congratulations on the new purchases of the Drass Galeazzi it is a beauty of a watch. In my photo, mine was on a rubber waffle strap from Watchgecko. I think the best option for a vintage look would be a tropic but a ladder type rubber strap also looks great. Mine is currently on a sailcloth strap but I think it goes well with so many straps. I've just purchased one of the new release Zuludiver 330 Italian rubber straps which is super soft.....can't go wrong really with these watches
Really refreshing to see so much Squale enthusiasm, a brand with real "dive watch" credentials,

Just collected from Shop and fitted ZuluDiver vintage tropic strap.
This one arrived from redmonaco yesterday. Very pleased and quality is excellent for the price point. Keen on getting a vintage Squale too I think.

I thought I'd revive this thread with a photo of mine, which I enjoy equally.
Here are my two, I have a want to buy up for a Drass Galeazzi and also on the Squale list for the next tranche (whichever come first)
Same watch on a grey Tropic.
My luminous dial, on an orange Tropic, currently on an orange Isofrane.
