Had a crap day at work yesterday but cheered up when I got home and found this was waiting for me. Finally got it adjusted this afternoon.

I wavered between the orange, the blue and the blue yellow but decided on the twin yellow look
What a cracker (and well worth the wait)..

Strange, cushion shaped watches usually wear very well. What was the lug to lug?

The Mark XVII arrived on Tuesday this week. It’s the bracelet version, but went straight onto a nato.

The Top Gun I collected off a fellow TZER about 5 weeks ago.

They aren’t what I expected to be owning a year ago. But I’m happy with them both.

So, I've not a stranger to buying the same watch again - I've had a number of Speedy's, for example, but this time I've bought the exact same watch twice!-) I had this very same high beat GMT in 2019, sold it and now I have it again. It's still a looker!

Don't know why it took me so long to get an orange watch since it's my favourite colour! Been a while since I've owned a Nomos of my own (missus has a rose Orion 33mm).

This is the 36mm version. I think it wears perfectly.

That's a great combo. That dial is a bit much with the fluted bezel and jubilee imo but I really like it on this.

Thanks. I agree entirely. It was just luck that it came up in this combo. It wasn't requested and it was a nice surprise when the call came.

I have to say I am impressed for the price. Lume and crystal are excellent. The bezel is a bit stiff though. It’s nice to have something different to my usual black dialled divers and chronos.
I have not tried to size the bracelet yet but beads of rice bracelets are not really my thing, I will give it a try though. The rubber is nice but I prefer NATOs so it was straight on to this elasticated nato I have had lingering in the strap box for a while.

The Incoming / New Arrival Thread

Combined new incoming and a pretty bad “where am I”?

Surprisingly light in contrast with what I’ve recently been wearing, but very comfortable. Had to order a couple of extra links which is annoying as that was not necessary with other Rolex (using oyster bracelets) picked up recently.

Looks great. You're central enough to pop down to RSJ and get the extra few without waiting. Bit annoying but what can you do?

I’ve ordered a couple as I expect to get a DJ41 azure blue, fluted bezel, Roman numeral in about three weeks and assume will have the same issue with the bracelet.

Picked up a James Cameron and they are massive in comparison.

Suspect they do not have a standard size.

I got an extra link or two for the dblue because I took the diver's ext link out. Did the same for the sd43 (same links).

Weirdly I think the Sub is the only watch I've never had to get extra links for.

Some incoming with those two. I'm jealous of the points/cashback ha!

Cash back is half a percent. Avios are pointless.

For anyone collecting BA companion vouchers they’ve changed the rules and can only be used on economy in future.

Switch to the £25 cashback card. 1.25% above £10k although up to £10k is now 0.75% down from 1%.

I got a sub date 41 recently and that’s the best fit of any of them.

Managed to try this one while on holiday. Stunning watch and amazing attention to detail. (Un)fortunately it was a bit too blocky for my wrists. Also managed to try the octo Roma on leather strap and that was a better fit. Where did you get yours May I ask?

Stunning. I bet it's well built too.

Based on some recent chat, Sebastien Muller has been rather busy selling these recently. I can see why.

I know nothing about this brand but that reminds me a little of some JLC references - very nice
