I have seen some tissot (no lume...) and tag (over budget) which are not bad

Hi guys!
Looking for a mechanical, sturdy, sub 35mm, lumed indices, min 5atm wr watch for the wife, any suggestions?
She has a wonderful solar citizen and an invicta diver that tick all the boxes and I'm looking for something a bit more premium.
It's really hard!
Cheers

It'll probably stay that way too until you get her a nice watch. Titoni make a lot of nice ladies watches at around the £1K mark: https://www.titoni.ch/en/collection/ladies-watches.html
Sinn make a few lovely 34mm watches under £1k but they are (high precision) quartz.

Get a used tag or Oris. Great bang for buck.

We went out to buy her a watch with similar criteria to you. We came home with a Rolex on her wrist…
Isn't much.
I think Seiko Presage are nice and can be picked cheap in 34mm. These can be bought for around £200.

I had the same criteria recently and went for a Longines. There are a few nice options at this price point

Max bill mechanical 34mm? I think it might only be 30m water resistant though
Doesn’t fully meet your criteria but I’m quite taken with my wife’s latest.

I got my wife this for her bday earlier this year, Tissot Courturier. It’s 32mm, has the Powermatic movement with 80 hours power reserve, display caseback, date, 100m WR, sapphire crystal, looks really nice on, she loves it and she wears it more than her Apple Watch now which she never used to take off. Only thing it hasn’t got that you’ve specified is the lumed indices.
Good price too - £245 on Amazon which includes import fees (less than I paid six months ago). They only seem to do the quartz models in the UK and I wanted to get her an auto, but it’s easy to order from abroad on Amazon. Plenty of your grand left to take her to a hotel for the night!

at £1000 you might just be able to source a ladies vintage breitling watch
Have you looked at Tissot's, Certina's, or Mido's current ladies models?
Should be plenty of choices between these three brands.

I wasn't aware of how few ladies watches have lume. That seems to be the tough part...
How about "Nomos Orion" if 2nd hand is acceptable.....
There are few in Chrono24.
What about a Smiths Navigator PRS48? A smidge over at 36mm but only 46mm lug to lug and thin so a low-profile wear. Mechanical, lume, small and less than £500.
