Thirsty work this pork pie eating, especially when there's black pudding buried in the pie . . .

Had a couple of "Heatherwoods" Porter from Lidl last evening, not only very cheap it's a lovely, almost traditional Stout, highly recommended if you like Stouts. Cheers, John B4
Worth checking out thegreatergood (home brewing for those without the skill or patience). On my fourth beer and all have been cracking

I wondered who actually brewed them, no indication on the bottles. Did a brewery tour and photographed Nephews wedding reception there too, at the time no indication that they were brewing/bottling for Lidl but they did brew a Sainsburys "own label" bitter then. Cheers for info, John B4
Wishing I’d been at Hop City Leeds and channeling some Yorkshire at home.…
And just arrived, a selection of German and Czech beauts from Beers Of Europe.
Quick couple in Granville’s , sat at the bar!
Ossett Voodoo chocolate orange stout
And a Wilde Child Excessive Behaviour salted caramel stout
Both really good , could get very merry on these.

It's a little early but having a cheeky peroni red label before I go and do some work in the garden.

This is a bit spumante for my liking but tastes good all the same.

This little selection should keep me busy for a couple of days.
And this one is first up.
Mauldons are new to me. I can't fault their Suffolk Pride.

This is far too cloudy for my liking. A strong hint of chicken too. These micro brewers will flavour their beer with anything these days.
A fine summers evening

Happy Land Rover with a little mud. Happy Kirk with a little beer.
Two dark ones tonight.

A new one for me, courtesy of my sis in law from Ulverston. She will doubtless have bought it in Booths where they have a large and excellent selection . . .

Greene King used to make an excellent black IPA. I used to buy it from Tesco, but they stopped selling it ages ago and I'm not even sure it's brewed now.

Delicious but a bit on the strong side at 6%.
