    Oyster for Everest 36

Pretty pleased with a little project this afternoon, modifying the SELs on a highish quality generic oyster so that it would fit my Everest. I also modified the final (clasp end) links on the oyster so that they would be plug-and-play with the factory Smiths clasp, too.

The result is great, not only for the style, but this bracelet has the modern type oyster SELs with the longer centre projection, as per the Explorer - I find this very comfortable; it extends the effective lug-to-lug length, and that stops the watch rotating away from me on the wrist.

Very good job. Do you mind elaborating on the exact bracelet you bought and the modifications to it?

I managed to fit an alpha oyster on the original sel
The smiths buckle did not fit so I kept the plain alpha 80's style.

    Will take pictures one day...
