How I first discovered that titanium is a very soft metal!!
I do like the “unusual”! I think the shrouding you refer to is an optical illusion. As you say, it’s a knurled edge to the bezel - but purely cosmetic as it doesn’t rotate!
Someone else’s images here.

And interestingly a very similar variant with very slightly different lugs.

I seemed to have picked up a few Ti watches. Took a while getting used to the lightness after steel.
I love the lightness of titanium, its colour and the its feeling of warmth. On reading the thread, I thought I'd sold my only titanium watch a while back, the Seiko Shogun. I now wish I hadn't but in reality it wasn't worn that much. It was a very, very light watch for its size.
However this thread, has reminded me that I still have two titanium watches. First is the Ray Mears 2 which is a very accomplished watch, with the rare monocoque construction, and perfect second hand alignment. It's major drawback for me, is that it wears smaller than its 40mm.
Finally I have a G shock GW-S5600U-1JF which is a titanium watch in the sense that the buttons and caseback are in titanium. This makes it the lightest watch I own at a mere 46gms, as Casio also used carbon fibre in the strap to keep the weight as low as possible. It has the clearest LCD of all the many G-Shocks I have owned and although it's not to everyone's taste, it's my second favourite G after the GW-5000.
Photo © Seiya as the watch is a bugger to photograph well.

Isn’t the EZM3 made of steel?
The EZM1 was comically light for it’s relative size (thickness)
My titanium Zenith
Just the one for me - I must admit I like the comfort and the darker hue of the metal.
The Pelagos is my only one. Can't tell the difference in terms of weight since it's a chunky unit but it feels quite tough and resistant to scratches.

I would gladly have more, it is a great material
I’ve not worn it yet for any length of time but it seems pretty comfortable. I just can’t get my mind around how light the watch and bracelet feel. And I’m still learning to like/love the colour!
It seems pretty well made: solid end links, generally quite well finished with no obvious sharp edges and has a milled clasp. It’s a pin and collar system which is a bit of a struggle and there are only three micro adjustment holes. It’s taken a couple of attempts but I think I’ve now got a pretty good fit.
It’s my first titanium watch and bracelet so it still feels a little strange compared to stainless steel but I’m very pleased with it.
If you’ve already got a titanium D1 then £72 for this bracelet is a no brainier in my opinion.
Just the one for me and, as someone has already said, I don't notice the lighter weight because it's a substantial watch. Was pretty confident I'd be moving it on fairly quickly but it's 50:50 now, if I didn't wear smaller watches I'd probably notice the size less.
I’m about to order a Kobold Polar Surveyor in polished Ti…
Still slightly on the fence.
Any of them on here?
