Some of you lot are showing your age ;p
Coldplay and Oasis would be my 2 faves, although I'd say the one song that I never tire off is Snow Patrol - chasing cars
anything floyd, the cure, depeche mode the police etc gets worn out at home and never gets old but here's a few random ones I also never get tired of:
Hole - Malibu

duran duran - new moon on monday
PHD - I wont let you down
Black - wonderful life
level 42 - something about you
mazzy star - fade into you
bronski beat - smalltown boy

Al Stewart - Year Of The Cat

I have many but the two things I have listened too most are Hergest Ridge and Ommadawn by Mike Oldfield. Those two pieces are therapy, peace and, in a way, a drug to me.

Some great music on here and eclectic tastes. Most seem to like many genres of music which is what I expected.
Although I only mentioned 2 in my original post I never meant people should be limited to 2, so it’s nice to see people list a few.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
Mariya Takeuchi - Plastic Love
Aphex Twin - "Z-Twig"
Aphex Twin - "Rhubarb"
New Order - Bizarre Love Triangle
Led Zeppelin - Achilles Last Stand
Only covers I know but I like listening to Toni and Reina.

I turned Jools Holland on last Friday just as this song came on, and I was pleased to see they uploaded this specific performance to YouTube on Monday. It’s from 2012, I’ve never heard of the guy before, but I think it’s remarkable and I’m very glad I turned over when I did.

Snow Patrol Run or Chasing Cars & Arcade Fire Wake Up, get's me every time...
Gerry Rafferty's Baker Street https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fo6aKnRnBxM
Lynyrd Skynyrd's Sweet Home Alabama https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GxWmSVv-cY
And Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vi7cuAjArRs
Several songs already mentioned from my personal top 100. Loads worthy of mention still left, here’s three:
Janis Joplin, Me and Bobby McGee
Her talent and raw power never cease to amaze me
The Band, The Weight
Juha Vainio, Vanhojapoikia viiksekkäitä
Use Me by Bill Withers
In fact, pretty much anything by Bill Withers

I'll add "Hug My Soul"- Saint Etienne. Beginning to end is brilliant song.
Love this version by Kimiko Kasai

I'm a creature of habit.
Most days, I listen to a Miles Davis & a Robert Johnson track, just whatever plays randomly when I open the folder. (I've probably done that for more than 15 years!)
The song that I've listened to most often that isn't RJ or MD? That'll be Jackson Browne's 'These Days'. He wrote it when he was 16, the talentless so-&-so. First recorded by Nico, it's a song that's been covered over 50 times. Gregg Allman & Glen Campbell are among the best versions, IMO.
Here's a list of versions for anyone who wants to investigate -
COVERS OF 'THESE DAYS'
______
Jim.
Wu tang clan - gravel pit
Macklemore - thrift shop
Mark ronson/miley cyrus - nothing breaks like a heart
Blonde - Union city blue
Missy elliot - pass the Dutch
Goldfrapp - ooh la la
Arcade fire - everything now
Jazzy jeff and the fresh Prince - boom shake the room
Abba - Waterloo/dancing queen
The cranberries - dreams
Chemical brothers - hey boy hey girl
Fatboy slim - right here right now
Happy mondays - step on
Surf's Up by the Beach Boys, though tribute band the Fendertones more than do it justice.
Radiohead Weird Fishes/Arpeggi (Scotch Mist)
https://youtu.be/FcANFVcJeOM
I would happily have this played at my funeral.
I don't know what planet Radiohead are from, but I'm glad they are visiting.
I listen to this at least once a week
Sade, Diamond life .
tool - lateralus , due to the complexity - the whole composition is based on the Fibonacci sequence.
David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust
Jackson Browne - The Load Out / Stay
Humble Pie - Honky Tonk Woman (You'll never listen to the Stones' version after this)
So many!! Where to start?!!
Will start with these.
Will start with these.
Willow , by Joan Armatrading.
No Woman No Cry, by Bob Marley ( I prefer the live version to the Album version).
Love Will Tear Us Apart, by Joy Division..
Steeldrivers - Bad for you.
Unfortunately as I’ve got older so my inner ‘Smashy and Nicey’ have somewhat taken over my fav top pop picks:
Radar Love: Golden Ear Ring
Thunderstruck AC/DC
The Big Goodbye Great White
