Have we done this one before? If so, I couldn't find it.
So, show us your grey dials. Slate, graphite, faded, ghost, gunmetal, smoke: what have you got?
Here's recent arrival (1967 Omega Seamaster in the middle) flanked by two 1969 Smiths Astrals.
Lovely thread idea! And now I need a grey dial watch...!
i was going to sell this watch but due to this thread realise it's the only grey dial watch I have. Hmm!
1967 / 68 Constellation, 168 017, grey starburst dial. Well preserved, if I say so myself, and keeps extremely good time following service - a few years ago now - by Duncan at Genesis.

Very, very nice indeed, Tetlee.
I wonder if the same company made the Rolex and Omega dials? They look identical.
Those Astrals are lovely but this is my ‘grey’ dial.
Marketed a S Glacier Blue but it looks more like grey than blue to me!

1974 Smiths "Quasar", the only quartz watch ever made in the UK (I think).
I believe there are 6 working examples, of which only mine has the box.
I'm a sucker for grey dials (especially sunburst) - here's one of mine.

This thread is best viewed in black and white.
Do we rate these watches on the "greyscale"?
Did any come from grey dealers?
Do you dye the roots?
etc etc
:-)

So far I think Mr Curta is smashing this thread. What an eclectic collection!
I think a few of the "grey" dials on this thread are black versions masquerading as grey.
I think this is my only other grey dial watch.
Cheers,
Neil.
I'm annoyed that I don't have more to contribute.
I really like grey dials, but don’t currently own one.
I used to have this - great looking watch but a major disappointment.

I also had one of these - nice looking and enjoyable, but not quite special enough to keep.

Current grey dials:
Does half-grey count?
And a few I've had in the past:
Looking at this thread perhaps TZ members own the majority of X33 MKI and MKII in the wild? I think not many were bought by the public when for sale.
A couple more I forgot..
Cheers,
Neil.
My lovely Eterna Tangaroa - bought on a whim but made me want more of the brand in my collection.
I only have one but it’s a favourite
I much prefer the lighter grey dials to the later service replacements which were a darker grey / black
