Davosa (model North Pole) for iGANE - Limited Edition. So excited!
Came on Sunday after a longer than expected wait
That Devosa is an nicely legible watch, something I'm growing to appreciate as I grow older.
Arrived yesterday which was a great Birthday present to myself- 126660 James Cameron

Postie just dropped this off, quick wind and straight on the wrist. Loving it and loving the titanium. This is my second successful eBay pickup this year - just goes to show there are still some good guys and fine watches out there if you are careful.
Arrived today via a forum trade - Damasko DSub3 - and I am besotted
Typically for Damasko, pictures don't do it justice - it's a well-balanced and super-legible design and the splash of colour suits the season.
I'd been looking for a DSub2 (blue dial) for a while, but this will actually be more versatile and I suspect is ultimately the better choice.
The supplied strap was perfect, but fancied more colour, so onto an ebay cheapie for now.
Nice Damasko 👍
But that strap is too much for me. I believe it is for Garmin.
Got my hair cut in town today and thought I’d look in the ADs window, they had both the original BB58 and Blue so tried both on and the bronze, came away with the original 58, I know I’m a little late to the party with this one but this is what I’d call my first luxury watch purchase and with there being little change of getting a No Date Submariner anytime soon this will fill my watch itch for now.
Got the box hidden from the other half as she’ would probably go mental, I’ll pick a good time to tell her but that isn’t now!

I am a big fan of the 58’s and popped into my AD to drop off a service and the 925 is certainly completely unnecessary but I think it’s a cool colour way and the Matt silver is interesting.

Everywhere I look people getting new BB58, getting soooo tempted to pull the trigger...
5 watches last year, 2 in the last week, one of which hasn't even arrived yet and I'm lurking lol

It has taken a little time to arrive but it has only increased the anticipation.
A Seiko H556-501A sold as not working I had bought a cheap donor but the only thing I needed to do was to replace the battery. And not a minute too soon judging by what I removed :
I really don't think it has been worn. Original strap (not sure about the compass) no swirlies, no DNA.
To say I'm chuffed would be an understatement.
Yes, that’s the one. Not the best pictures but the taupe colour is really unusual, will get some better pictures up.

I bought a BB58 (Nato Black) just after Xmas after previously trying one 10 months earlier.
Tried the Blue too and was really torn but went with the original.
Don’t think I’d want one as my only watch but it slots into my modest little collection nicely.
I think they’re great value for money and even though the bezel alignments slightly off I’m not bothered and just set it slightly ‘off-click’ myself.
(I am aware that this would send loads of you on here under !).

P.S. I do not know why this forum removes some of my punctuation !

I don't know if I would let everything else go to keep only this one, but that's a seriously satisfying watch indeed!
I just sized the bracelet for myself and I think it looks amazing on it in the flesh.
Unfortunately I can't get the perfect fit
Cheers, it's just a modest picture taken with an old iPhone, but the warm tones of the 58 are making it easy to photograph!
The case feels really right proportions wise, definitely a watch worth a try I think
Matte silver looking great imo
For the Blackbay Chrono owners - how are you finding the white hands on white dial?
Gone full Casino Royale!
Not a new watch but decided to fork out on a new genuine strap and buckle. While not cheap, I am very happy with the look and feel.

Over the moon to finally have an El Primero on the wrist. Have been a big fan of the CP2 since the first LE was released, and this for my tastes is the best of the lot, with the added bonus of having a display back to view one of THE iconic movements. To say I'm chuffed would be an understatement!!
Well, what I actually bought was a Porsche Boxster (nothing too exciting, a used one), but had to get something for the missus too so this one:
Looks terrific - I like a bright colour strap too

Ah the circle of (watch) life. I bought a 2254 20 years ago and thought it was a fantastic watch but I hankered after an ExpII and had to sell it. I was sensible then and only owned and could afford one watch so I am pleased to have a mint 2254 back on my wrist. It serves as a counterpoint to the modern trend for thicker watches, I cannot get over how thin it is, another thing that has been lost with the trend to bigger and more style over sustenance design. Its classy, understated and legibility is great for old eyes. I was a bit concerned that I had been hasty and allowed nostalgia to drive my decision to buy it but now I can truly say no, I was drawn back to it because it's a cool watch.

My first Panerai the PAM 01055, the Submersible Verde Militaire, had my eye on this since a SC listing that I stupidly didn’t respond to in time. Absolutely stunning watch, love the colours and the LE of 500 issued makes it more ‘unique’, also registered it to get the 8 year warranty which didn’t appear to have been activated, which is a bonus.
Managed to get one from Watchfinder, having traded my Bremont H4 Hercules, have to say the process with them was excellent.

Undone Popeye and Friends edition. Model: "Aqua Brutus" m I love Undone`s approach. So playful, cool, fun, but still good quality and good price.
This one is a bit bigger, than my usual size, but it comes with decent water resistancy (up to 200 m), case with cool blue DLC and semi transparent dial. Movement is automatic (Seiko). And packaging is awesome. It comes in a "can witch spinach" (of course can is plastic, but not the top cover, and spinach is a shredded paper) - again fun and original. Thumbs up from me :-)
