Sorry to go OT…. On big old timber doors I assume there’s a contraption you can get that opens them electronically?

There is, but they tend to be more fiddly and expensive than the roller versions as you need to deal with both doors (2 sets of rams). Securing the doors closed is also a bit of a faff.
