27 for me, both for work and holidays. Never been to Asia or South America, would love to one day.
About 8 for me, and half of those were for work, so I did not have much choice. Foreign travel does not appeal to me, as there are great places to visit here in the the UK.

39 for me…. But only one of them was a day trip…. The rest I’ve been to been to (if that makes sense?)
21 for me, all being 'proper' stays.
I'd like to add to the list. I haven't got out of London once for over a year!
Only 23 for me, less than I thought. Although I have been to some countries many, many times. Need to spread my wings!
25 for me, many countries in South America, the Antipodes and the Far East are all on the bucket list once free from the shackles of C19 and being a wage slave.
Cheers
Ian
Counter 37 off the list.

Didn’t think about East Germany which I went to. In fact I like to think I helped unite the two countries. Here’s me knocking down the wall . .
Amazing to think that was over 30 years ago and I was very young. Me and a mate had gone inter railing and stopped in Berlin for 4 nights. Think it was 5 DM’s to hire.
25 for me. Last trip outside UK was 7 years ago, once we welcomed a puppy into our home.

When I was going through the list, I remembered a stay in Rostock 2 or 3 yrs ago. Then I remembered that this (beautiful!!!) town is situated in the former DDR where I'd been as a student (East Berlin, late '70s. Very depressing). That's how I remembered that it's the 20th country.

A round 30 for me....several multiple times.
Just done a count and excluding UK I seem to be at 65. Big chunks of Africa and South America not done so plenty of new places still to see.
Whilst we’re all discussing world travel, a good time for a reminder that the Take Time watch still has some of the world to explore...

58 of those listed, lacking in Africa (just Morocco and Algeria) and haven't been to China or Japan.

I have the lowest at the grand total of 3.
I really need to get out more!
At the point in my life when I thought I need to change, the original lockdown happened.
I totally forgot: I have also been to North Luxembourg and the South of France.
Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.
I've managed 73 - worked in a variety of global roles for about 30 years. I'm bound to have missed a few off though...
33 from the list for me.
I've never been to South America at all, so I'd like to go there sometime.
Although, the Channel Islands would be nice at the moment!
M
Breitling Cosmonaute 809 - What's not to like?
I counted in the mid-50s but I notice a few places not on this list. As said before in the thread, military helps up the number significantly through deployments and detachments around the world.
Maybe a different thread, but it would be interesting to find the most extreme place a TZ'er has been? Eg antartica or up Everest etc.
Not as many as I had thought!
I have counted 21 (might have missed some) but I been to several of the countries numerous times i.e. Ireland, Greece & France 20+ times. Croatia, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Zambia 10+ times
Need to get out and about more when we are allowed to.
I'm on 33.
It would be interesting to see how the figures would change if you had to spend two consecutive nights in a country for it to count towards your total, so no airport or cruise ship stops.
It would be interesting to define “been to” as some may include visiting a port within 500 yards of a cruise ship as having visited a country. No offence meant....
Spain
Italy
Germany
Greece
Switzerland
Belgium (debatable as to whether it can count, went for lunch with a client once but saw lots of Brussels in an Uber).
USA
Indonesia
Thailand
France
Czech Republic.
Really disappointed with that and feel I should broaden my horizons somewhat.

37 and I’m disappointed!
Need to do better!
Now up to 39? How did that happen in lockdown?

Thing is you can rack up a hell of a lot of countries by driving through Europe in a couple of days yet somewhere like the US is so vast and diverse yet you would statistically appear untravelled versus someone who had just driven through Belgium, Luxembourg, France etc. My "1 country" US stat covers Guam, Hawaii, Alaska and many mainland states from west to east coast.
19 for me and 21 for my wife. As some have also mentioned, we tend to travel a lot for work, but to the same places (Japan, Singapore and USA).
A paltry 11 out of that list.
I did however document everywhere I bought a ticket for use on public transport last year and add it to a map

Its not where you go its what you see and learn.
Not so much a place as a landmark - but I have been at the top of BT Tower. I emerged from the fire escape hatch in the lift motor room and stood on the top, the only thing left to climb was the mast. Wouldn't do it now - and no longer have the access rights anyway.
As far as countries visited, only about 12-15.. I had forgotten some till I saw them on peoples lists...
