RIP Barbara. I enjoyed the Carry On films. They were from a more gentle less politically correct times. Hopefully you will see Kenneth and the rest of the gang. Say "Hi" from us all.

R.I.P. Barbara.
IMHO it’s a shame that after all the Carry On films (which will likely never be shown ever again.....) she made, entertaining millions she’ll be likely remembered for playing a screaming matriarchal landlady in one of the most depressing serial program known to man.....
RIP
The phrase national treasure is used too much but feels strangely apt in her case - RIP dame Barbara
Rest in peace Peggy.

Breitling Cosmonaute 809 - What's not to like?
'Sparrows can't sing' made me fall in love with Babara and realise just how well she could act, a long career and an interesting life, she'll be much missed.
RIP Babs
What a girl, what a woman, always watched and waited in earnest for the bra to come off in Carry on Camping. Sleep tight you lovely lady
R.I.P. bonny girl.
My friend gave me the news earlier
Said he got his first stiffy to her in a carry on film(Carry on Henry)
Reckons it would be how she would like to be remembered

Very sad but at rest now - I followed her illness - terrible
Another celebrity with a questionable life.
Had a relationship with Reggie Kray and was married to Ronnie Knight for over 20 years.
I don’t mourn my own family never mind folk I have never met so I’ll pass on this one as usual.
Yet you feel compelled to writing something rather than just passing on by.
Entertained millions for many years in a range of roles and she will be remembered for that.
In later years using her public image to raise awareness of the very illness she would ultimately die from says something about the woman she was.
RIP.

Sad to hear. The Carry On film series is so funny. I think I have seen most of them. Each character was played perfectly.
