I really fancy a Guinness tonight - not sure why, would never entertain having one in the house though. Pub drink only.
Probably my favourite IPA. Crisp but full bodied. Superb.

Shipyard American Pale Ale. Nommm nom nom.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
Trying this for the first time:
Really good it is too.
I spent four weeks in the US a few years ago... Enjoyed lots of good IPAs etc. but ended up craving a Guinness... Went and found an Irish pub in the end!
Had a Triple Hazy from Brewdog tonight and I think it's my favourite of the hazy range. Nice fruity and hoppy flavour, a little sweeter than the others but it works.
After a week off the juice due to a family emergency, I got back on the horse on Thursday night with gusto!
If you’re ever in Truro, pop into Red Elephant Beer Cellar by the Cathedral. They have an amazing selection of Cornish and European beers, all styles and tastes. The guys who run it really know their brews and are lovely to boot. This collab IPA with Verdant as a part of their crowdfunder to help with their new shop opening.
More from the Kernel and Newbarns. This was ace. Bitter maltiness, a little spice and a good hoppy bite.
From Italy, another juicer from CR/AK, this time a single-hop Amarillo IPA. More bitter/dank than I expected from Amarillo, which I generally expect to be heavy on the fruity side of floral, but this was very much citrus-dominated.
And a fruity hoppy NEIPA from Pressure Drop to sign-off Thursday.
Friday night kicked-off with a pale from Wylam. Hoppy, dry, full-on Summer fruits. Pineapple bomb.
Another awesome NEIPA from Pressure Drop again. This one got loads of love from the Insta beer world, and rightly so. Full-on Citra all the way, lovely beer.
Finished up with a treat from Other Half, which made me happy and sad in one glass full. Great beer, I long to get back to New York so I can drink at their tap.
Lovely westy from US of A

I don’t think I’ve contributed to this thread before, but browsing has given me some ideas.
Anyway, tonight is draught Beavertown Lupuloid and it’s very drinkable and deceptively strong.

Marks , Morrisons and Tesco have great ale offerings now

A couple of dark Germans to start this evening.
The Dunkel is more like an Altbier, a medium brown in colour and not as sweet as I was expecting. Very nice.

On the Verdant fanboy train to start tonights refreshments.
Blended Blur is unlike any of their pales I’ve had before. Lighter, fruitier, incredibly drinkable. Inhaled it.
And hello but goodbye to an old favourite.
The photos don’t do either of those justice. They look distinctly murky, but aren’t.

Had to be a Stout today, this one from Boundary in Belfast , straight Stout , slightly sweet hint of liquorice and touch of alco burn. Change for me as no fancy flavours but no bad thing , have to try some of their others,

And now, Marylou’s big brother.
Going Jaipur X large to celebrate that finally the USA has some grown-ups in charge.
Last day of 9 days off. Consoling myself with some Proper Job IPA and browsing watches on eBay. Hogs heaven!

The Crown Posada never reopened after the first lock down, lord knows when I'll get up the Town again for a wander, visit the Laing Gallery and have a swally. All I have for now is the memories :-( . . .
. . . etc etc etc . . . sigh . . .
F.T.F.A.
I'm sure it'll re-open and we can finally meet up for a pint.
One day Bob. One day.

Polly's 'Slow Repetitions' DIPA, an exercise in how to make drinking 8.8% no more difficult than drinking orange squash.
Slightly odd flavour profile with this one. It's a big juice bomb with a slight pine finish however there's a banana smoothie softness in texture and taste that I can't shake off - it's pleasant, just not what I was expecting.
Polly's
I bought a beer compressor/ chiller when lockdown was announced. It’s turned out to be a very good decision.
Currently do my best on 88pints of Guinness, 52 pints of Kernel Citra IPA and 52 pints of Lupiloid. Could take a couple of days ..
I really should be heading to bed but after a week of nights and afternoons I feel I need a little wind down.....
Tunes on (headphones ) & a nice cold Rockshore lager for company

I'm not working tomorrow so the weekend starts here with a Left Handed Giant // Het Uiltje colab, a pistachio and honeycomb milk stout by the name of Woodland Creatures.
Lovely stuff, though not as punchy as the imperials that I'm used to.

Thirsty Thursday...
One of the best WCIPA’s I’ve ever had outside California. Beak are making some great stuff.
Some thoroughly decent juicy gloop from Duration, Norfolk’s finest riding on a crest.
And a more classic bitter for autumn from the marvellous Long Man of Sussex...
TFI FriYay!
Slam-dunk Other Half ++Berliner Weisse with Guava, Strawbs and Coconut.
Double-whammy of DIPA’s...
And dessert...

Another new one tonight:
Apparently it is Bold and Enticing. So just how I like my women.
Had these last night , both really nice , not too hoppy, Horsforth Brew made with hops grown in allotments & gardens locally.

A Weissbier from the world's oldest brewery.
Pleasant, but, and I may be a philistine for saying it, I still prefer a Fransizkaner.

Managed to bag a few Youngs Chocolate Stout in Morrisons this morning. One of my favourite beers and they were on 4 for £6 so very happy, almost worth going out to help Mrs Sish with the shopping!

Ease up IPA for me.
Adnams delivered my latest stash today but I have not set them to chill in the beer fridge yet.
