Swear by them. Had my first for years, and we only parted company as it mysteriously vanished. Its replacement hasn't reached the old slippers status yet, but give it time!

So who has one?
I've always wanted one but was always confused by all the styles and sizing.
I was riding around Snowdonia on Monday when I stopped at ellis brigham Capel Curig to fix my go pro (as it was away from the crowds and had an empty car park).
I nipped inside for a look around, they had one T3 wanderer in Khaki so I bought it.
by luck this seems perfect so I feel very lucky (being careful I washed it as soon as I got back to my hotel).
Anything else they make you would recommend, any one had one of these for years?

Two. An LTM5 to replace the T5 that I left at the top of a hill when cycle touring. The LTM5 is the lightweight version of the T5. Also a TH5, the same style but in hemp. The 5 series hats have a narrower brim than the 3 series.
Sizing is really important. I take a 7 3/8". I managed to pick up a used 7 1/2" T3 at a decent price by post, but it didn't fit. I have recently given it away, and the new owner is very happy with it as I am with mine. Great quality with an excellent warranty.
I have I have a TH5 and a TW2HT for differing weather conditions. Worth measuring your head accurately. Pediwear are a good supplier.

Dad has worn them for many years, I bought him a new winter one for his birthday a couple of weeks ago.
T3, that's all you need to know.

My first rotted after 4 years of abuse in Saudi, sweat/oil/heat etc, replaced free of charge and the 2nd one is still going strong 16 years later.
i have a t3 lying doin now...i prefer me tarp hat
Yup, you can't beat the understated elegance of a Tarp Hat.
When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
Yep. I have two. A TTW2 and a T3. Both in Olive. The T3 looks and feels better the longer you have it.
TH5 in Mocha for me, bought when is was only £40, shocked to see the prices now!
I want pix of Tilley-Hat-wearing TZUK members!!
Having recently been called a Flowerpot Man I seek to update my image to a more suave look.
T3 here. Bought it after a lengthy Tilley thread here on the forum. As said, T3 is all you need. Combined with proper Oakley Deep Water Prizm it's all I need for a sunny and hot day on the water.

My Tilly hemp is still in good fettle it’s about ten years old.
I found the '3' series brims to be too big when wearing a rucksack, which I always do outside, so have a few of the '5' series.
Sweat stains them so rinse regularly.
The stereotype TZ member has a new identifying feature, Belstaff jacket, Tilly hat, size 6 Barker brogues, Norwegian army surplus backpack, MX5 keyring, drinking home made cold brew coffee, smelling of Creed Aventus. Have I missed anything?
Cheers..

Skating away on the thin ice of a new day
I've no idea which 'model' Tilley I've got, but I've had it for umpteen years and it's still going strong (albeit rather bashed).

T3 in Khaki for me, had it over 10 years and still love it, might treat myself to a new one!!!!!!
Th5 (I think) hemp in any case. Absolutely shapeless so impossible to put any unwanted creases in it. Shows no signs of wearing out so no need to buy another which I would in a heart beat if necessary.
Just about to purchase a Wanderer, anybody got one?
Get one.
Great company to deal with. My original hat wore through in a small spot after about 10 years of abuse. I sent a photo of the damage to them with no real expectation of any response. They replaced it free of charge.
Can't argue with that. Mine is 3 years old, a 7¼ and I'm sure it's always been a snug fit. Well, too snug really. Forehead imprint smug. Just sizing up for a new one and I'm going for a 7½ so, two sizes up. I'm sure my head hasn't grown and there's not much 'give' in the hats over time but they are good. Unless you can try'n buy, sizing is hit and miss.
Is this the hat that passed through the elephant ? I insist on all of my articles of clothing passing through an elephant.

Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
I find that the sizing chart on the Pediwear site works for me.
