Very nice Dave. I love the Metro. Did that come from SC by any chance?

Big fan of the metro too - quirky and different which is good if you're not a huge fan of the standard Nomos look. Congrats with both - interesting date complication on the other Nomos too. What sold you on Nomos?
Both lovely watches. The little splash of colour on the Metro is very nice. I’m also a Nomos fan. This is mine and it’s staying with me.

What a lovely dial
Very nice
I've had a few Nomos, mainly Clubs in different guises, but not for a long time.
However, while idly browsing the pre-owned section of an online store I was led to via a thread on here (isn't that how it always happens?), I was struck by this one
Only 12 months old, mint condition and a new brown cordovan strap, so I couldn't resist. I needed some contrast to all the divers, military and sports watches in the box
Absolutely beautiful. i really want a Nomos
Love Nomos but on the ones I've tried the lugs usually make it wear too big for my wirst.
The Orions are shorter lugs than a lot of the others I think. I agree that the lug to lug can be quite large, but then they make a bunch of different sizes for a reason. I think a lot of people write off the smaller sizes even though they wear a lot bigger than you'd think.
I can confirm this is the case. I received the 38 Date today and the lugs are definitely shorter than the Clubs I owned.
There's hardly any gap between case and strap, whereas on the Club you could drive a bus through.
I'm still not sure about it though it wears quite large for a 38.5mm
