Wow. The silver dial is a long term grail of mine & a few years off yet. Big congrats.

Received last week. A long time horological goal. The Sonata Streamline! Was fixed on the Gen 2 model for some years but I like the younger more daring look of the streamline case.

Both new to the fold. I suspect the MM will last a lot longer than the Harmony ;)

Great mod.
This arrived from Kash yesterday...I have to say, it is rather a stunner
A grey Hamilton Khaki Field collected today and I'm impressed.
An old friend had an Orsa Sea Angler (I think, may have been a maelstrom) that was a compressor style case with an internal bezel. I've been wanting one for ages but keep missing them when they do come up for sale. These Dan Henry watches seem to be of similar ilk. I want something with an internal adjustable bezel that I can wear on a waffle type strap. Will check these out.
New arrival for me.
Managed to score a great deal with bracelet as well (4 weeks order time).

Finally got a couple of adequate pics - Sinn 104 St Sa I W to give it its full honorific - Germans don't like to make names easy to remember for some reason...
Great lume (better than U1!) and amazing how purty and modestly-sized these are in the metal - if you need a watch to cover the practical + dress side of things, these make a great choice
Damn you Toshk! Look what you made me do.
Beans on toast now

Ha! Ok 1-1 then. Yep it is a higher quality watch than the SLA017 for sure. Bezel action is like the SLA025 (like turning a safe dial), the steel is lighter (looks a bit like WG) and the indices and hands seem to be better finished. It is kind of like what you would get if Grand Seiko made a retro themed diver. Really like this watch and so much nicer in the metal.
Hi, thanks, yes of course - it's a Hirsch "Rainbow" 20mm - embossed Teju / Lizard pattern - which came 2nd hand unusued from a friend a long while before I got the watch, plus an 18mm Sinn deployant clasp which I'd also bought a while back knowing I'd be buying a Sinn 103 or 104 when the right one came along...
FWIW, Hirsch do a genuine Teju as well I believe, if you want actual dead reptile Their straps are top notch quality, probably my favourite manufacturer, FWLIW.
Postie knocked and hour ago with this, picked up from TZ'er on SC. Adjusted the bracelet, doddle, & on the wrist. Never really been a fan of quartz watches, but this will make and excellent 'grab-'n'-go.'
Have to say the finish is really excellent, lovely toothed bezel ring, case brushing crown & pushers really nice. Beads of rice bracelet & clasp with extension, and end-link fit are absolutely spot-on.
Perfect fit on my wrist so supremely comfortable, this will be getting lots of wrist time for sure. It really is a lovely thing.
How does Eddie do all this for so little money?
Cheers.
That’s a beaut!

Gone very-mildly nuts on the daily beaters -
This... (Tauchmeister T0039SE / 46mm / Miyota quartz / sapphire crystal / 1000m WR):
...has replaced this (Tauchmeister TO255 / 52mm / undet. Chinese auto) which was just too big for me and a PITA to wind - which is not ideal for a daily. Now sold to a chum who is built on a suitably Brunellian scale:
And this little hardened-SS, Sapphire-crystalled, 200m WR gem has also rocked-up to populate the solar-powered slot in the dailies box...
Do enjoy a bit of colour
Just arrived today from SC:
