I’m very impressed so far! Very comfortable to wear and works well for pretty much any occasion.

Argh! All these photos! I’ve now gone from thinking this is a nice watch but not really for me, as I love my original BB58, to I desperately wanting one! I’ve enquires at my AD and just waiting for them to come back to me on availability. I think the ‘soft’ strap would be my preference but knowing me, I’ll end up with them all at some point.
I really do need to stop looking at these threads now....
Edited to add - Name down for the first one on the strap that my AD get. Blooming stunning from the photos he’s just sent me.

Well, I have to hold my hand up, it is better than the preview pictures that were floating about and I'm warming to it. I'm still not in the market though, I've got my eye on something else but it's not in the near future. Chris said Marcus and I would have to fight it out for the next one in but I told him, "Although I fancy my chances, next month I'll be 73 not 37, so I'll pass." I don't think Marcus is interested though.
PS, Your photography is improving.
really like it apart from the snowflake hand.
No stock in Mallorys in Bath today but they did take a deposit so hopeful.
P.s. anyone want to buy a Bremont MB3?

Very tempted with one of these to go with my original BB58. Would get on the bracelet but really like the nato. Does anyone know best place to buy the Tudor Nato other than from an AD?

I handled a BB58 Blue a couple of hours ago as a mate of mine was lucky enough to collect his today
I am very impressed with it, it looks good in the photos but even better in the flesh. My mate has large wrists/arms but the 39mm size suits him perfectly.
I'll have to go through my collection to decide which one has to go to make room for an incoming BB58 Blue in a few months time...........
There’s a couple on Chrono24 for £4250 and £4500, rediculous!

I picked one up on the 1st July . Will post pics when I get time .
Called 3 places and no stock 😒 and don’t want to pay over list that’s for sure
You will probably have to wait for the second drop in about 3 weeks.
My AD was laughing about the amount of phone calls they took for this yesterday.
Just picking mine up now from EJ, they are expecting a delivery of 1 or 2 first week of august but was also laughing about how many calls they had received. 10 on the “list”

Awesome enjoy it.
Thank you, loving the look of it. Am a bit of a tudor fan all round but this is up there in my collection.
Planning on doing a SOC soon :-)

Thinking of getting a bb58 for my everyday piece
looks fab and quietly relieved its a 39mm; which i personally think is a tad too small for me so I can put it in the 'very nice but not for me' room.
How does the blue look in the light as the photos make it look quite dark ?
It’s much lighter than the dark blue on the GMT, comparable to the old Seamaster blue IMO

Same on mine :-) nice touch.

Is that right, explorer 1 is smaller and lighter? Are you referring to the latest explorer? I assume not.
This is really lazy by Tudor. Cheapest way to create a new model really, just a bezel and a dial. They shouldve made the square lume plots like on the original Tudor snow flake subs, but that would require more tooling, design and prototypes etc... this is just a different (dull) coloured BB58 and people are tripping over themselves? I guess there really is too much money floating around...
Thank you, they all seem to wear so well. The pelagos has been in the collection for years, one of my favourites.

I too would LOVE to see a modern snowflake sub, but I doubt that will happen. I’ve been surprised by the ferocity of some of the negative comments towards this one though, if I’m honest. I put it down to the fact our desire for new models has largely gone unsated this year. Did you feel as strongly when Tudor released the blue bezel BB41 off the back of the burgundy bezel? I recall that was accepted as growth of the range, which of course in retrospect it was. I’ve bought one of these and if I’m honest I’m a bit meh about it so far, but I don’t think it warrants such vitriol?
That’s the Rolex approach isn’t it? Take a Submariner, add a date and it’s SubDate, add a complication it’s a GMT, swap a bezel it’s an Explorer II and so on. Even more so with the DateJust lineup.
In the past couple of years it looks like they’ve been trying to go down a route of making watches customisable from the factory, which isn’t a bad thing. Maybe one day we’ll have a large range of colours, bezels, straps and complications to pick from.
I like this blue one though, along with the Seiko spb143 it looks like brands are on a roll with good value classic looking divers.
These pictures are really tempting me - very annoying as I thought I had made my mind up on my next purchase..Back to the drawing board
