Fourpure have always been pretty consistent. One of few that have been taken over by Big Beer that I will still buy from. Their Easy Peeler session IPA is lovely, Mrs Works doesn’t drink much beer but it’s her favourite summer tipple.I discovered this in my new favourite local convenience store:
It's delicious so I'm ordering some direct from the brewery, which is just a few miles down the road.
Their Pils lager is good too
If you like their beers I imagine you’ll like a lot of the smaller London breweries too.

I really can’t fathom why more Polish craftbeers are not available here. They have a fantastic industry, they are super value, very well made, and we have a big Polish ex-pat community. A matter of time perhaps?
Another fantastic beer from Cloudwater last night, showcasing the best of the Citra hop. This one got better as it warmed a little in the glass, very good beer...
A bit of action from Marble to go with a Cheeseburger. Crisp but more fruity than your average lager thanks to the hopping variety, another Manchester winner...
And finally, this beauty from a trip I made down to the Kernel Brewery in Bermondsey yesterday, to collect a mixed-box that I’m sharing with a colleague who lives nearby.
More to come from Kernel, in the shape of Foeder Beer, two Saisons, a Table Beer, a Porter and a couple of special Stouts.

From Bowness Bay Brewing in Cumbria, via my sis in law. Although they call it a black IPA it's very similar in taste and body to the Black Sheep milk stout.
Big fan of the Hazy Jane from Brewdog, arguably their best beer so far.
I concur, in the fridge for the weekend along with some mikkeler offerings.

Yeah this is a lovely beer.
Bit of South East London IPA action from BBNo’s.
Clean, clear, crisply dry, fruity hints of apricot, mango and piney bitterness. The can mentions berries too, which you do get a bit of as it warms. Nice beer.

Started with a Cornish classic - Proper Job - but it went down so well and so fast I didn’t have the heart to click it!
Fish n chips for dinner, and with that I had this lovely drop from Kernel. Close your eyes and you could be in a bar in Brussels...
After dinner I just wanted a nice, fruity, smooth IPA. Cue Cheltenham’s finest...
And with dessert - an Almond Magnum - a nice, dry stout from Kernel. Vanilla on the nose and hints of cocoa in the gob. Lovely stuff.

The lovely Skye Red made an appearance tonight, from my recently acquired stash of Skye ales. A malty and nutty award-winning craft ale, and beautifully smooth it is too!

Finished off the Wilde Child Gimme S’more and Horsforth Cascade boxes last week, both very good. Had a delivery of a few cans from Jim’s and an order from Tiny Rebel.
Just having the Sling it out Stout and Explicit Emphasis this evening, lovely! had the Boom and Crust Black Cherry Pie Pastry Stout 10.5% Ridgeside Brewery earlier this week , cherry tart taste ,malty and boozy finish.
Had a couple of the Tiny Rebel pales this week , nice and fruity , looking forward to trying the Stay Put , their NHS special, raspberry ripple marshmallow Porter!
