Impressive. How much was that, Bazza?

My Sinn EZM2 Hydro model was in need of a service and so I posted it of to the Farther land
on the 5th of the month. Then with the virus happening I didn't expect to see it back any time
Soon but I had an email though the other day and UPS dropped it of with me today.
So just 3 weeks I'm impressed
Here is a video of it https://youtu.be/wXhQDjVzD5M

That's really excellent service and good to know. Always loved those oil filled ones!
Excellent service from Sinn! Great to hear!
Mine was recently at TWR. Turned around in a similar time. Of all the brands I have I think Sinn genuinely offer the best ownership experience - buying, wearing and maintaining. Quite like that they go under the radar with most non WIS.

Congratulations
Reasonable price and a quick turnaround, excellent news.
Is it the same level of service for everyone?
You told Sinn that you are a watch reviewer on youtube when you needed your UX serviced.
Guess they haven’t forgot you just yet.
They took nearly 2 weeks to answer a simple email question, regarding a price for a Sinn metal strap quite recently.
It was Germany.
First question was asking for a price for a...
22mm metal bracelet. €210 with €25 post.
Then when I received that price. I wondered how much extra a tegimented version would cost.
22mm tegimented metal bracelet €290 with €25 post.
They don’t advertise prices of these items on their website. So I put them here. Took me nearly a month to receive this information.
Genau Sir have to agree with one on that one
I'll had dealing with them for the last 10 years and never really had any problems
Personally. I wouldn’t rush to buy any Sinn new, unless you really love it and intend on keeping it a real long time.
They, like many watches, drop like a stone.
I have owned 5 in the last year. BLU1, UX, UX, T2, U1. Down to one UX now. If I had purchased them all new. I would have lost at least £3500.
A new UX with bracelet costs around £1900. Used, a tidy boxed example is around £1200.
Perhaps better to buy a near mint used Sinn. If you really like it, but prefer new. Sell it and buy a new one.

Sinn are the business!
I have had 5-6 interactions on different topics, warranty repairs and also servicing of a EZM-2(gone but not forgotten!) in about 14 years. They are fair and direct in their approach. They tell you a date and it is a date!
Email is a bit slow, phone calls are better.
True also on the second hand piece. Second hand is best. Damasko and Sinn are great value second-hand.
A new Sinn UX costs around £1900 new Sir
I've 5 Sinn's only the U2 Black and EZM13 I've had from new the other I got used my wife got me them
The EZM1 is now around 3k more than I paid for it ,the EZM2 is around a 1k and UX 700+
But the new ones I'd lose some
But to be fair got them because I like them wasn't about investments
Glad to see it back and healthy, I remember when you opened that lovely Sinn case at the last Bristol GTG, the EZM2 was doing its funny give me a service tick, I have one too and was talking about the service as I'm sure mine will have to go off in the next 18 months or so.
Not bad time to wait really and once done thats it for a long time..
I'd planned a trip by train from my home to Frankfurt (direct line, 3.5 hrs single trip) somewhere in April. I had the idea of dropping off my EMZ2 Hydro for a service. And I'd planned to take a lot of pics and post them here. But then, C-19 interfered...
I think I'll use bazza's route and post the watch to their address.

Used their online form to enquire about a leather strap for my 356 back in January, got a reply the next day with a link to purchase. Early March I enquired about the bracelet as I wanted to get an idea of how much they are brand new because I wanted to sell my one, again got a reply next day.
