Couple more, in natural light (sheltering in the car from the deluge, but anyway....)

Detail is lovely. The face reflects back the hands, the polishing and chamfering on the hands themselves, and the hour markers - everything is super crisp:

Sorry, I ended up going for the 269 instead. Yet to take it out of the box though, as we are travelling so no access to watch tools to remove the bracelet and put on a newly acquired burgundy gator strap.

There are GS dealers across the EU, Seiko’s website will help you locate them.

The ones I know don’t carry all stock but can get any current models on request.

Retail on the GMT is about £2900 in the UK but prices fluctuate depending on country.

Just in. Awesome watch, nicest GS I've had. Pics make this watch look bland (including this pic) but I feel this is on another level even to my SBGK005. Very very shiny though so it is a but of an attention grabber and there is a superman colour scheme going on too!

A bold claim Ryan! I'm looking forward to seeing one of these in the flesh. I suspect as you say the pics don't do it justice.

Nah, 269 for shear drama. Blue dial 60th ok for a daily - btw, I have a blue ceramic quartz on the way, so not biased.

269 I also owned and sold on here - unbelievable dial on that and yes pure drama. Obviously it is all subjective - for me the case style (44GS) on the 60th is exquisite although I will say that with the polished surfaces (and there are a lot due to the flat case profile) and the fact the dial is very 'shimmery', added to the red and gold highlights it is borderline bling and certainly more of a bauble than the SBGH205 and SBGH201 which share the same case.

Having recently purchased a GS GMT I have to say I am extremely impressed. This really could be the one watch I don't flip as it ticks so many boxes in terms of quality, comfort and accuracy.

I have been wearing this constantly since receiving it and plan to keep doing so...

It’s a great all rounder for everyday wear.

I’m a huge fan of these after discovering them recently. How’re you getting on with it?

It’s a great watch, keeps perfect time and is very comfortable to wear. I had intended to use it as a daily beater initially, however it’s far to nice for that and finding I am very careful when wearing it hence posting a WTT for something else!

Thanks, I saw one earlier in this thread too. Its the SBGV011.
The dial comes on as black from a vertical angle, but turns grey in raking light.

Also its twin is really nice, the silver dialled SBGV009.

Personally I prefer the silver dial but sold mine to gain legibilty with a higher contrast dial/hands configuration.

This photo makes me wish for an actual grey dialled version, it looks great like that. I'd also love to see this piece re-released as a skinny hand wound that's even closer to the original dimensions.
