Knowing how capacious the Superb is (I have an estate) I tip my hat to you - that you ran out of space such that you needed a trailer!

Earlier in the year I bought Mrs V a 2003 Honda Jazz to replace her broken MX5. Something of a come down for her unfortunately and she doesn't really like it much. It will do her until she saves up for the Mini convertible that she wants though.
As for myself, I love it. A basic, simple and reliable mode of transport. I find the fact that it is deeply unfashionable very attractive in a perverse way.
In fact I like it so much I have just bought myself one and will hopefully be selling my CRV tomorrow.
Its a slightly newer one than Mrs V's on a 2005 plate. 66K and a FSH including the original sales invoice. The only faults I can find are three minor dings that haven't broken the paint and are hardly noticeable. The only thing it needs is a space saver spare wheel, jack and wheel brace to replace the crappy O/E puncture repair inflation kit in the boot. I did need to buy a spare key as well as it only came with one.
It has a harsh ride and with its 1.2 engine is pretty slow. However, fuel seems to last forever (as indicated by what seems to be the biggest fuel gauge in the world) and its oddly fun to drive. I love how basic it is, in fact if it had manual wing mirrors and wind up windows in the front it would be perfect!
And as with all Jazz's the way that the rear seats fold in a number of ways makes the internal space that is available quite amazing.

I've just had a bit of a clean-up in this thread and deleted a few posts. If it happens again, I'll be deleting a few members.

It seems appropriate to add this as we did 3,000 miles in it around Spain/Portugal and France last month.
VW T6 Campervan.

Latest addition to the car family.
Relatively rare car in the market, not that many sold and the owners tend to keep them for a long time (some of them have over 200k on the odometers). Infamously labelled by one J Clarkson as 'the worst car in the world' when it was launched, but for a hard top convertible tourer they're rather nice - and more importantly, SWMBO likes it.

I took delivery of this on Wednesday. Very impressed so far...
It's taken over eighteen months and a lot of miles to find this one. I had some specific criteria to be met, including a complete Lexus service history.
Many years ago I had an LS430 and was impressed with the engine and gearbox combo, this shares the same engine but an even better 'box which makes for a very smooth and unstressed ride: at 80mph the engine is ticking over at 2000 rpm.

My wife had a 2003 Jazz from new. After 10 years of faithful service it was replaced by a newer Jazz and the old one was passed on to our son after had managed to write of his Golf. He kept it for 3 years or so and had now replaced that with yet another Jazz.
Not the pinnacle of design or flair but not one of them had any major issues in their time with us.

Thanks. I'm loving it so far. Build quality is superb as is the handling. It has very generous spec too. It's not RS4 mental but there's a good turn of speed and it looks like I'm getting over 50mpg so far. The virtual cockpit is great but the centre info screen is a bit fiddly. They've done away with the navigation wheel so it's touch screen only which is quite frankly a little bit dangerous as you have to look where you are pointing and that can be distracting. I'm trying to get used to operating the central screen using the voice command as you can't do so via the steering wheel controls. Ride is hard but not as bad as the 2017 320d M Sport touring. The s tronic box isn't as smooth as the auto in the GLC or X3 and it seems to hesitate when you accelerate.
Daily cars a Volvo S60, RR Evoque and a VW EOS, lesson to self never get a white car again. Pain to keep clean, looks gorgeous when clean.
My favourite car the EOS its an older v6 but so much fun to drive and can fit a pram and decent amount of shopping. I have been looking at something newer to get but with the newborn need the boot space.
The Volvo S60 is a lovely motorway miles cruncher and does. great job at cruising.
The Evoque is a great little car for when we have bad weather.
This arrvived today, first impressions are good. Loving the new dash layout too.
Been utterly reliable for the past 7 years and 90k miles.
Fold down the back seats (yes back seats, really), chuck in all you need for a couple of weeks away, rejoice in the Tardis-like space, and enjoy!
Probably the only car I've ever owned (apart from convertibles), where you can touch the back window whilst sitting in the front seat!
Absolutely love the wee beastie!

It looks like a 911 991 C4S.
Very nice
That was why I ended up with one, I went to test drive one and they kept dropping the price and making the deal better and better. In the end I also thought it was rude not to!
Running costs so far are really good, got 3 year servicing with the package and am on about 18mpg which for a 625 hp ‘super car’ is pretty good I think.
I was looking at a 991 Turbo S when I bought this and couldn’t justify the massive financial uplift for a fairly small increase in handling and speed. One of the best all round cars I have ever owned and hasn’t missed a beat yet!
