Be nicer if we stuck to football but if you're going to use a pejorative term for a club you don't like then I'm not sure you can complain if it's done back.
When the United and city fans say ' always the victims ' what are you actually referring to ?
Hillsborough quite clearly the fans / city were correct in their " moaning " and it resulted in the correct apologies to the club and fans plus resulting in the court cases etc.
What else are you referring to ?
Pot calling the kettle black? You might want to go get your FACTS straight before you go poking your nose in, i have keept the banter football related and never involved a tragedy, race or prejudice..........I have no issues with football banter but there is a line that has to be drawn when it comes to using the lost of life to aim a dig at another!!!

In all honesty I think villa played brilliantly and very possibly gone 2 up.
I am bemused by the VAR decision against Firminho...... Apparently his arm pit was offside.

Awesome win for the pool today. Totally deserved with again fighting dodgy decisions. Need to start growing my nails ready for next week 😬
Just one of them things. It was called offside before VAR so even in the ‘good’ ol days it wouldn’t have been given.
Certainly was very close.
Arm pit?

Nope, couldn’t be more wrong on the Hillsborough theme. Wasn’t and never will be about that tragedy in my comments. If that’s how you interpret them, then I’d say you might need to look a little closer to home .
I’d give you a list of all the misdemeanours that “ the worlds bestest most knowledgeable fans ever” have been involved in but I’m sure you know most of them as it is.
Anyway, don’t you have a sales thread somewhere to stomp all over ?
No I don't know that's why I asked.
I work with a load of city and United fans and when I've asked them also they say " i dunno, you are just victims, always moaning" .
City will probably get tagged with the same when they start to gather a fan base outside Manchester. ( I don't mean that in a derogatory sense ).
Spurs benefitting again from the VAR Gods. Somehow a Dele Alli blatant handball in the box isn't a penalty. Sickening injury for Gomez for Everton, Sky didnt show the replay but Thai TV did and his shin bent at a 45 degree angle

So VAR is having a good weekend!!! Im still coming to terms with "armpit" offside.

Feel for all the players seeing that injury. There is no way the trip was a red card. Hope for a Speedie recovery for Gomez.

Everton v Spurs VAR ref was Anthony Taylor. He reffed Watford V. Chelsea yesterday.
He gave the most ludicrous foul followed by a yellow card for Craig Dawson for what can only be described as the perfect tackle.
Either football as we know it has gone, or Anthony Taylor should never be allowed near another game ever, as he has zero understanding of football.
I’ve mentioned this before but Sir Anthony of Taylor lived in Wythenshawe in a family of brothers who supported Utd. He affiliated himself to the Cheshire FA and told PIGMOL that he is an Altrincham supporter. He is regularly given games involving Utd, City and Liverpool which I find baffling .
In a game v Chelsea a few years ago, Aguero was one on one with Luiz and heading for goal. The defender took him out and Taylor reached into his pocket for the red. He then seemingly got a message in his headset and changed his mind . I might be wrong but Im not sure Luiz even got a yellow. The opposite happened v Wigan in the FA Cup when Delph mistimed a tackle on the stroke o& half time . Taylor actually pulled out the yellow card before changing his mind to give a straight red.
Without doubt, one of the most biased referees out there.
Just Google it. You will find several explanations. You can choose the one that suits.
I have and it seems no one is really sure and seems the likes of theGoat just say it without really knowing why.
Hillsborough, Heysel, Luis Suarez / Evra and the managed decline under Margaret Thatcher are the the reason listed.
Find the always the victims shouts those reasons pretty bizzare.
So maybe there's no particular reason, just an accumulation of them.
I’ll humour you .
Wrecking the City bus before the Champs League game . No arrests , . Wasn’t your fans .
Smashing every window in a City supporters coach after our fans had impeccably observed the 30 th Hillsborough anniversary minutes silence. Cheering as Yaya Toure was stretchered off the pitch in the same game . Everton fans apparently.
Booing Ederson after he had the nerve to head butted Manes boot in a game at City.
Attacking fans who were shepherded into ONE gate in a League Cup semi at your place.
Your club and fans support of Suarez in the Evra race row . T shirts FFS .
These are some the minor ones just involving City .
So actually nothing at all to do with Liverpool claiming they are victims.
Fair enough if you think Liverpool fans are c*nts that's fine.
As for the coach window being smashed, I don't see how you can rate every Liverpool fan as a victim over a few dickheads throwing cans of lager.
Agreed the booing is out of order but that is a football wide issue.
I've been to city before and had to be escorted out by police after death threats and a knife being pulled on us and we were in a box.
There's nob heads at every ground and at every club.
For the record I work in Manchester and I genuinely like Mancunians. Scousers / mancs are essentially the same people.
Whilst elsewhere in the league another win at Palace (Schlupp.. what a player!) means a European slot is getting more likely

Leicester are looking good for top four with Chelsea, City and Liverpool. Arsenal, Spurs and United lack consistency. I have enjoyed watching Leicester this season.
Horrible injury at Goodson, had to rewind it as Sky wouldn't show it, looked like Gomes' foot was hanging off. Hope he recovers, but doubt he'll play again this season. At least we scraped a point at the death.

Chelsea will be a major force next year. This transfer ban could be the best thing to happen to them since Roman took over.
Tammy, Mount and Tomori will all have played a full season and will really kick on next year.
Just shows players are good enough to start week in week out and will excel if you give them the chance.
If you can point out where I’ve called them that, I’d be grateful. FYI , I’m invited to the game on Sunday by very good friends who are ST holders at Anfield. I wouldn’t dream of calling them that .
You say a few dickheads throwing cans. There were over 800 missiles that hit the coach , on a route that your club published before the game so your fans could line the route. Yet, there’s never been one word of condemnation because they refused to accept responsibility. The club, police and fans were all at fault but refused to take any blame. The fans claimed they were victims of a media witch-hunt stoked by City.
The fans coach was trashed. Would you accept your family being on a bus that was attacked and had every window put through ?
Even recently, the hacking of our database by your club is explained away by a number of your fans that it was our fault for not changing passwords !!!
Your fans singlehandedly got English clubs banned from European football but still plead innocence blaming it on a crumbling ground, Juventus fans and , bizarrely , even Chelsea fans .
Micheal Shields was fitted up was he not?
As for being threatened in a box with someone pulling a knife !! Come on , really ? Even if you told me it happened at Maine Rd , I’d be sceptical .
I've got no reason to lie about the issue at the box in Maine road, we scored and celebrated and the lads Infront of us went absolutely beserk and well well over the top.
I don't get who all of these people are who are saying it's city's daily for not changing passwords or media witch hunts. I'm from Liverpool, go the game and never heard anyone saying anything like that. I've heard plenty of people condemn the morons for the coach incident and I genuinely haven't heard a single Liverpool fan even mention the hacking incident.
As for Heysel you are way off - I was at Heysel.
The head of police was jailed, the police in control of Z block were given suspended sentences, the head of a Belgian football was given a sentence. Liverpool fans were given jail time.
That whole issue stemmed from Z block being filled with Juve fans. The Juve fans then started to throw bits of stone into our blocks. ( The ground and steps were literally breaking up at your feet ).
Every single group of football fans would have reacted the same as the Liverpool lads being pelted with stones that day.
It was an unfortunate incident all round and a far wider issue than saying it was Liverpool fans fault.
I don't know if you've ever looked into the details of the investigation but it shows how many contributing factors were in play.
If you've got friends who are season ticket holders and scousers then I'm sure you know all this already so I'll put the victims stuff down to just football fans being football fans.
I think we can probably all agree that if you pick any group of fans from any team, and you'll find a few assholes -- much like you would if you picked 1000 people of any random street.
A friend of mine, an elderly gent, always used to say;
"No matter where you're going never take a w@nk3r with you, because no matter where you're going there's guaranteed to be at least one already there"
Do you actually have anything to contribute to this or are you just going to stand in the background clapping like the plastic monkey with the cymbals ?
Drago.
If it’s all the same to you , I’ll take this to PM . My recollections of the incident are different to yours but I don’t want this thread to sink any lower.
I’ll leave Berkaholic to his own devices and witty quips .
I'll be watching this film about Matt Busby, great United manager (and City and Liverpool player).
