That's lovely!
Yes,you hold to stop, and release after five seconds and hold in the crown to make the seconds and minute hand advance.
Painful on the fingertips!
havent seen enough of the RTL range to form an opinion really, the one in this thread is built to a reasonably good standard .the only other one i have had is an RTL 70,that had an ETA 2824 movement and a hand made carbon fibre dial.it was one solidly built the watch and the bracelet was an engineering masterpiece.but all in all for all its qualities it was heavy and i sold it after a couple of years..
Plenty of Heuers about, especially Autavias, but I don't think I've seen another one of these
Manual wind 73463, 'military style' (this model was issued, but this particular one wasn't)
I think I'm the only one here with this Eterna Kontiki GMT:
Not many of these around:
Longines Lepine Heritage
I've never seen another one anywhere!
There could be another 20 somewhere:
Wow. 13 years ago, doesn’t seem that long ago.
Cheers..

Plenty of Sinn's 556i models here however I don't think that I've ever seen another mocha dialed version.
It has a rather stunning sunburst dial, not that my 'photo shows it...
556i Mocha
Not seen any of these on here - there’s one on watchuseek though.

I’m fairly certain no one has one of these:
I'm pretty sure i'm the only one with this particular Snoopy watch

Have seen a few Glycine Airman's but they all seem to be modern versions. So I present my vintage Airman Special....
Not seen a Kairos on here either....
Then there's my Memocall....
Seiko's everywhere, but not seen another like this on here....
Or this....
Not seen a Breitling AVI on here anywhere either
And that's before I open another of my boxes - I do so like to be different.
Best Regards - Peter
I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
Raffe has a Kairos. I used to have one. Mine was a blue dial.
Probably only one.
Alba Riki Watanabe (Seiko)
Cilla's got one of those I think, or isn't it the same?

Well done that man, quality choice.
Haven't seen you post it here before, same seconds hand as mine too - the ones I've seen elsewhere have a different seconds hand with a hollow end counterbalance to match the hours and minutes hand.
Interesting on a bracelet - did it come on that or did you add it later? As a dress watch I prefer it on leather myself, would like to see what it looks like on the wrist on the bracelet, do you have a wrist shot?

Sorry I have an original Airman from the late 50s early 60s
A few that I don’t think others have from my collection are as follows....
Roamer Pasadena in need of a bit of TLC
I know there are a few ScubaPro 500s here but this one has possible Norwegian Navy issue markings on the rear
Fortis GMT, TBH I have never seen another in Stainless (most are PVD) with a luminova dial (again most have tritium dials)
Sinn 155
Marathon MSAR
Marathon CSAR
MKII Cruxible
Waltham A11
Waltham A17
Lastly a couple of Citizens

I bought this new from an AD in 1994, it was on a green ostrich strap then. I wore it every day for more than 15 years, going through a number of original Chronoswiss straps in ostrich and shark skin. When I started collecting watches, I stumbled across a two-tone Kairos on bracelet on eBay which was so cheap that I had to buy it, so I ended up with two. After a couple of years I had never worn the two-tone, so decided I was going to sell it again. The buyer preferred the strap, so I kept the bracelet with my original steel model. Then my ex-wife wore it for a while, she has so delicate wrists that I had to disassemble/wreck the bracelet to shorten it to her size. I already bought a new buckle a while ago, just need to put it back on a strap.
Here is the only picture I could find on the bracelet (before I wrecked it):
...and here is a snap of the two-tone:

Thanks for the update Raffe. Looks to be still in excellent condition but would certainly look better on a strap IMO. Mine's on it's original black Ostrich strap, but I'll put it on an Alligator when this one wears out as I think that would suit it better. Mine was a birthday present from my wife, Lynn, back in 2007.
Not sure I'd take to the two tone either, I don't think it suits the style and takes away from the lovely silver guilloche dial on these.
Great to see another on the forum, they have a rather attractive simplicity.

Ah, apologies Mr C, I didn't look at the first page as your link took me directly to page 2 so I had assumed you meant the one on there. Yes, having now looked at page 1 the one on that page is indeed the same as mine and I presume he still has it, so two on the forum then.
Interesting watches, would love to know why Seiko stopped making them. They do have a couple of quirks though, no running seconds, (though you can select it but it only runs for one minute), and it frequently goes into sleep mode if under a cuff for any length of time. Great travel watch.

A couple of RLTs have been on the thread, I have a few, there might be another of these on this forum but I don't know, RLT8 ( V7750) I think there were only 10 or so made, Ive given it a acrylic crystal for the vintage look.
Cheers..

But this is still the only example of the two-tone 7A38-706A SAA034J I've ever seen (anywhere).
