Just finished The Spy - Sacha Baron Cohen, gripping, superb entertainment, highly recommended!
Watched Fleabag live tonight. Horrific, terribly acted shite. Based on this I would avoid the TV series like the plague.

Steer well clear of The I land on Netflix. Absolute drivel.
Top Boy season 3 on Netflix picks up where season 2 (2013 ish) left off. Gritty and brutal. Like this forum really.
Unbelievable on Netflix- had me gripped from the the first 2 minutes. Based from a true story in the states about a series of sexual assaults. The lead character is accused of lying- the actors portraying the 2 female detectives investigating further cases are excellent, they really draw you in to the storyline.
Not new but if you missed breaking bad and better call saul then you are missing out. they are way above average
Schitts Creek is worth ago...

City on a hill, is looking good now 2 episodes in and it has a lot of the grime of the Wire mixed with a bit of the Boston cops and robbers of the Departed
Not very new but The Money Heist on Netflix was very, very good.
Which platform is this on please? Netflix? Sounds right up my street!
For those saying Top Boy S3, I loved first 2 season and 3rd is a massive return to what it does best. Powerful storytelling and deep social commentary, in particular the acting from Kano is so good it's painful.

I’ve just started season two of the OA only to discover Netflix have dropped it after this season
You might want to edit that post above seeing as we are in the G&D
Fargo on Netflix was excellent, a tad dark in some places but overall very good.

Just caught an Australian 'Comedy/drama' on an Emirates flight to KL called 'Mr Inbetween'. Not sure if its streaming in UK yet but if you do happen upon it, give it a go. Its only six episodes per series but it's interesting and entertaining, i did enjoy it.
I finally got around to watching HBO's The Deuce. I'm four episodes in and really liking it. It's very David Simon and very good.
I'm almost finished season 1 of Bosch on Amazon Prime. It was a little slow to get off the ground, but I'm really enjoying it now.
Just finished Temple. Very good. On Sky
+1 for Unbelievable
19-2, Canadian cop series on Prime UK, https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3340712/. You can tell it's not American: they don't get their guns out as often!
I'm not a binge watcher, will usually do two episodes and then leave it for a day or two, but this series has me hooked and I can't help watching one after the other.
If you are looking for something a little different, RTL Letzebuerg is just broadcasting the first ever television crime series in Luxembourgish:
The new Luxembourgish crime series "Capitani" starts 1 October on RTL Télé Lëtzebuerg and will also be available with English subtitles on RTL Today and with French subtitles on RTL 5minutes.lu. Every Tuesday evening at 8pm, follow Luc Capitani as he investigates a village murder and encounters resistance from the local residents.
The body of a young girl has been found in the woods surrounding the small northern village of Manscheid. Detective Luc Capitani is called to investigate the mysterious case of murder. But Luc, who hails from the southern Minette region, soon encounters difficulty in comprehending the villagers' mentality. He is assisted in the investigation by young local police officer Elsa Ley. The detective finds himself embroiled in a complicated web of intrigue, where nothing is as it seems, and local residents know more than they are letting on. As the investigation continues, Luc must not only hunt the murderer, but also unravel a whole way of thinking, taking apart a system of manipulation in the name of the "greater good". As he sifts through lie after lie, he must confront his own conscience in the search for the truth…
New episodes every Tuesday, the first two are out already and you can watch them here (including a short trailer to see if you like it).
Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.
Just finished watching the last part of the capture, oh boy did they mess with my mind, brilliant.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
Another for Temple, very good!
Has anyone watched Mr Mercedes? Any good?
Yes, very, very good. Having read the books it's a good telling / show of some weird writing...although Season 2 is Book 3 and Season 3 is now introducing characters from Book 2...but I know why they did it. Brendon Gleason is superb.
not new but recently discovered on ch4 catch up thingy - no offence - its great and ive been gripped for 3 series.
Goliath is back on Amazon with series 3. excellent camera work.
Just started watching Brassic, 3 episodes in and it's very, very funny. Think of a Northern 'Lock Stock' made into a tv series, using younger, rougher and stupider characters.
If you need a laugh during these uncertain times, give it a go
John
Unbelievable - really good.

I enjoyed LA finest. First episode was a bit hit and miss but by the end I thought it was good
I thought the latest Netflix season of Top Boy was good, really enjoyed The Boys too as others have said.
I'm 7 episodes into the 2nd season of Succession and it gets better and better. Darkly hilarious, unfettered fun. Certainly won't be for everybody, but the dialogue is so snappy and full of sharp put-downs, I can't help but love it.

We've enjoyed Succession too, just finished the 2nd season last night, great last scene!
