Personally I’d just point her in the way of Miltons, they have loads of ladies Rolex watches, and you take away any doubt when dealing with them...

Good afternoon all. A colleague of mine at work is thinking about buying this watch (She’s been after one for a while), and as is the way of these things she has asked me what I think of it.
First question is, does anyone know when Rolex Started using Sapphire crystals on the ladies datejust? The photos look like plexi to me, but it’s difficult to tell.
Also, the dial doesn’t really look right to me. The setting for the stones on the dial looks a bit “heavy” to me and the dial printing looks a little iffy, so I’m thinking that this may be after market.

Would appreciate any opinions you may have, and thanks in advance as usual.

That seller does have history on this forum, returns policy if I remember rightly.
I agree with above, point her in the direction of Haywood.
Already have done, and there’s nothing there which really takes her fancy. She seems to be quite set on the earlier cases (non polished lugs) mid size, bi colour on jubilee with the diamond/mother of pearl dial. So nothing too specific then.
And delivery shouldn’t be too much of an issue - we have an office in Liverpool and are up there very regularly.

In fact, the more I look at it, the more wrong that dial looks. I think that’s one to leave well alone.

Whether it’s just the photo angle, but the cyclops doesn’t look right either
Avoid.
The advert says the MoP dial and diamonds are afterset, so it didn't leave the Rolex factory that way if it worries you. And you won't get it serviced by a Rolex AD so can use that to negotiate on the price.
But ladies watches are really a world of their own for judging value based on how much the buyer likes it as a piece of tomfoolery
TBH I don't care for that clasp on the Jubilee bracelet.
