Ooni 3 is wood fired, but uses pellets vs 'actual' wood. There are conversion kits you can get 3rd party that allow it, but this has been designed specifically for it.
Personally, I've got a BGE if I want wood taste, gas Weber for ease & will be adding the Koda shortly.
Koda for me is simplicity, and without a chimney can use it under the BGE awning without setting it alight, or myself.
People will challenge the lack of wood taste, as they have incorrectly done with gas bbq for decades basing it on poor gas bbq choices.
