Bob Mortimer is naturally funny. I love his sense of the absurd.
Just started 'Glitch' on Netflix, only a few episodes in and it has promise, small town Australia, 6 long dead people dig themselves out of the cemetery for an as yet unknown reason.
Cheers..
Jase
Started Pine Gap on Netflix yesterday. Not bad so far.
Been meaning to watch that, if its anything like the first season of The Preacher (remainder were not so good) I'll be happy Sent from my LYA-L09 using TZ-UK mobile app

Sorry if it's been mentioned in the previous 46 pages, but we're really enjoying The Trip with Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon. On Amazon and Netflix.
Started watching "The Family" on Netflix yesterday - it's a limited time documentary.
Intriguing and scarcely believable at times, if it weren't for the real life footage and interviews. Quite an eye-opener!
Succession is worth a look. About the head of a global media empire based in manhattan, and how his pampered/ungrateful family argue and backstab over who will or won't be his eventual successor. Humorous in parts and quite eye opening when you see how they manipulated news to suit their own agenda (probably very close to reality)

For anyone interested in true crime, Murder Mountain is worth a watch on Netflix.
And for a bit of drama, Euphoria is great, really interesting and graphic insight into teenage life, but not your typical teenage angst tv show.
For people who have watched The Boys, have any of you watched The Umbrella Academy? Is it similar, any good?
Season 2 of Mindhunter is released on Netflix today - looking forward to watching it.
Watched first few episodes of new Mindhunter last night, superb as usual. Definitely recommend! The first season stood up to a fresh viewing last week in anticipation too, I really love it. Great premise, characters, dialogue, tone, and lost of all - score and soundtrack!
The second season has started well with some new developments and the long-standing tease of a potential killer continuing to play out. Can't wait to see where the rest of the season takes us.

I'm 3 episodes in 'Better Than Us', a Russian Netflix series, which is shaping up quite nicely. It deals with Asimov's 3 laws of robotics and if you liked Humans, Westworld, Ex Machina, Blade Runner, etc., it's probably for you. Also, because Russian women.
Watching Warrior and Bad Blood at the moment.
t j? I quite like it to be honest, its slightly different from the norm for this sort of thing being set in canada. Think of it as a modern day Narcos, season one is based on true events and I believe the 2nd season (which I'm part way through) is entirely fictional. Kim Coates (sons of anarchy) is the lead and is pretty good.
Season Two of TRAPPED on Amazon Prime. Season One wowed me, not quite as astounding this time out but still very good. Except ... I hate hate HATE stupid characters who do things that beyond common sense. Couple of instances of that.
New series of Peaky blyndurs sir , starting tonight
Just finished season 4 of Gomorrah.
Very 'dark' but defiinitely worth a watch.
Succession on Sky Atlantic is very good!
S1 is on demand & S2 airing at the moment
Just love Succession, Brian Cox is awesome.
I’ve just finished season one of Happy!
Very odd, but I couldn’t stop watching it just to see what happens next.
Pennyworth is worth a watch. Quirky but compelling.

Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
Just finished "The Spy" on Netflix about the Israeli spy Eli Cohen. Sacha Baron Cohen plays him. I thought it was superb.
Just watched Carnival Row, https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0489974/, on Prime UK. Really enjoyed it. Gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "flying naughtywordstartingwithF". You'll see what I mean.
On Netflix: The Spy with... (believe it or not!) Sacha Baron Cohen.
Finished it today too- really enjoyed it
I have watched the first 2 and am struggling a bit. Story so far isn’t all that compelling but the main issue is Orlando Bloom. I am having a hard time with him playing a tough cockney copper. He just doesn’t seem very good in it so far. Worth sticking with ?

Try The Boys on Prime. It is a bit like an adult premise of the book Steelhart (superheroes gone bad) Just finished it and awaiting the next season.
Prompted by another thread,
I watched the first of this seven part documentary on BBC.
Spotlight On The Troubles: A Secret History
Documentary series offering new insights into The Troubles in Northern Ireland.
