    Watch Recommendation for a Colleague

Just been asked to recommend a watch for a work colleague, only wants to spend £200, divers style watch that he can wear surfing, not too big as he has a slim wrist, rubber strap, mechanical would be nice.

I guess it's got to be a Seiko of some sort at this price but not really my area. Any ideas?

Seiko SKX009 or 013 fit the bill. Around £200 come on rubber or bracelet, automatic, wears small.

Or the SKX013 - that's the black one. It's a little smaller than the 42mm SKX007, at 37mm across. Some good info here -

I would go for the Seiko SRP777 every day of the week.

There are quite a few Citizen Promasters that would be equally good. At this price point though, I think it would make more sense to go quartz and eco-drive.

As a slight aside, a colleague asked me for ideas for a new watch for Christmas, as his wife wanted to buy him one.

After a brief discussion, I said there was a great Amazon deal on the first Bulova moon watch, with the stainless bracelet.

After the holidays, he said he was very disappointed and was going to send it back because the second hand didn't work properly. He said the second hand only worked if you pushed the button, and even then, only a while...

There are plenty on Amazon/ebay:) also quite a large selection on creation watches (link below), and you can often find a discount code somewhere to get a few extra pounds off

Your colleague won't go far wrong with one of these.

Have a look at Creation Watches, (Singapore) or City Watches if you want to buy from the UK. Both have deals on Orient watches at the moment and you can't really go wrong with a Mako or Ray. Also there will be tons of Seiko divers in this price range.
