Just arrived in my local, a seriously good Orcadian ale! Surprisingly tasty and flavourful, despite being what I consider, a lowly 3.8 session strength

Had one of these last night before heading out to dinner.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet but "whiteley bay" IPA is a lovely drop.

A Brew York / Vocation colab tonight, a cyro hopped triple IPA. A new one for me, and it's an absolute belter.

In the absence of Picon, I have added Cointreau to Leffe Brune. Heaven.
Watching the cricket/tennis/F1 with a Sainsbury’s own brand Czech Pilsner.
Quite helpfully the rear label small print tells me it’s brewed in Prague by Staropramen, and at £1.25 for a 500ml bottle, quite a bit cheaper than branded Staropramen.
140 different beers at the Seattle International Beer Festival. Weather has been great, and the beers better...

Yes I know that it's a school night but I've been Oncall for the last week.
The epitome of a Yorkshire Bitter. They should bottle it and sell it.

Years since I've had this. Why does beer taste better out of bottles than cans?

Wifey “persuaded” me I had to try this one, and who am I to disagree?

The Young's Double Chocolate is gorgeous. Fairly common in ASDA and Morrisons. Often part of their 4 for £6 deal.

Always like to try the local brew.
So, when in North Carolina - I had a few of these last night...
I does exactly what it says on the label...

Just the one tonight before my early Monday morning start. Looks like it's going to be fruity!

I am on leave this week so a few beers in the evening sunshine, might as well make myself useful and sharpen the pen knifes.
It’s excellent isn’t it? There is a Dutch pub in London where you can get it. Didn’t realise quite how strong it is the first time though, I’m not sure how I got home. I’ll have to try the IJwit.
I also had this slightly less strong version, the label spoke to me for some reason:
Went out to slake my thirst earlier and spied this on the bar in the Vic, rude not to as I have a bottle of the same that was gifted to me at the weekend gone . . .

Alright for a lunch bbq by myself in the sun.
Was drinking water, but felt it was somewhat lacking when grilling a steak!

After a day lugging the Take Time watch around London (and ensuring we returned with the same number of children as we left with) this was very, very welcome.
A great day out with the family

Those dark offerings above look lovely! After a sweaty hour on the turbo trainer, shower, and a walk down into town I was ready for some light refreshment earlier, so a Castle Eden in the Dun Cow followed by an Allendale Golden Plover in the Vic, then a couple of Raven to fuel me for the journey up the hill home.
