Out with my lad this morning (he’s 8). Wearing his favourite Seiko, definitely starting to show some signs of use now!

My birth year (1979) 7006-8040 which I never wear!

It's quite possibly going to end up on a Sales corner near here very soon! :)

Don't, you'll miss it even if you don't wear it much. ;-)

I have a birth year Bell-Matic which I rarely wear but I know I'd miss it if I sold it on.

With this watch I think I’m done for a while:

    SNE499
Stitches & Buckles stainless steel shroud
    Watchgecko bracelet

    Show your Seikos.

Gadget-y! Great size. About to find a decent NATO for it, for 100% outdoors mode

For scale - my paw, and a Tudor BB Chrono:

Nice, still getting my head around all the Seiko ranges but I believe these are a similar standard to vintage Grand Seiko just a different factory?

Got my first ever Seiko today, and I must say I'm very impressed with the quality at the price - paid £340 new from First Class Watches Ltd (including overnight postage).

Its the Samurai Save the Ocean "Dark" with gunmetal case, bezel and crown and a lovely blue rubber strap. Its my new "holiday watch" and will be rotating with my Rolex and Fossil (an eclectic collection!)

Really like that! I like the graduated dial. So many great Seiko’s

Rolex to a Fossil sounds eclectic.

Arrived this morning - the SSB045 (6T63-00B0), so it has the meca-quartz movement.

It was on the bracelet but personally I prefer the Isofrane-style rubber strap.

My Darth Scallop on my first rubber strap, I thought Seiko's silicone straps were comfy but this is next level!

The Hardlex is scratched in two places already, I really need to get a sapphire jobbie sorted.
