Instagram seems to be THE platform of the moment for the sale of illicit goods - this seller will make you a Rolex warranty card to order!
IIRC his account is private meaning he has to accept requests to follow him which should, from his point of view, minimise his exposure as a scammer.
I believe there is a similar, if not worse, problem with sale of drugs via "The 'Gram".
Diversifying???

Appears to be now working with these or it’s one and the same individual.

Looks like the LV Subs are back!

I don't suppose fakes cost that much to buy from source. He might have a shoe box full of LVs.
^ Oh the profit margin must be absolutely colossal!
I’m struck by the fact that he plays to the greed of buyers. No mention of the qualities of the watch, just a spiel about how prices will keep going up. You can’t lose. Money, money, money.
You’ll save yourself a grand if you buy from him through instagram.

Is there anything obviously fake about that one?^^^
Of course, he could be using a photo of a real one, in which case the question is moot.
Actually Zed should be given credit for his insight,
Any idiot that can afford to drop £13,000 on an ebay Rolex is likely to be impressed enough by all the boxes tags and documents not to question the watch any further, the watch will probably function well enough and so is unlikely to be sent to Rolex in the next few years by which time Zed has trousered a new Ferrari, its the 'big lie' principle.

His gloves haven't stopped a build up of grunge round the Cyclops, and dust apparently under the crystal and muck on the bezel insert.
That bezel pip looks a bit 'tall' to me, but I'm no expert.

My 2013 watch and a screenshot from Rolex website. Zeds watch is the third pic.
Font spacing certainly different of
= and M
Is there another dial font...?
With legitimate boxes, hangtags and counterfeit warranty cards (like those I posted earlier in the thread) creating the illusion of a full set I think the actual appearance of the watch is almost secondary, provided it's of reasonable quality.
Instagram buyers will no doubt be tempted by his claims of AD verification, of course this will be withdrawn at the last minute off the back of a tall story and, I would imagine, a sudden and fairly considerable discount for cash sweetening the deal.
A F2F for cash over lunch at somewhere decent; say Gaucho, at the treat of the seller and you've just reinforced your illusion, avoided the higher security of a bank and netted yourself more than a few grand profit.
Am I in the wrong business?
If indeed these are fake as the indications are, one has to wonder at the gall of this guy.
Paging Mr. Milton, Mr. Milton please to the Zed-thread.
Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.
Have 'trading standards' ever been involved?

If this latest watch is indeed another fake, have we to assume that the other dealers who follow him on his page are also selling fakes?
Everything changes but you...Again, these posts are very old. And have been put behind me as I have moved on, and only practise in legitimate behaviour. The time difference between the posts is 4/5 years apart. A lot of things happen in 5 years and people grow up,
I suppose that when he eventually disappears offline he'll either be in custody or in hospital. Hopefully both.
F.T.F.A.
I haven't got my LVc on my wrist and in the photos I have on my phone the "O" of Rolex is obscured by the hour hand.
However the "1000ft = 300m" text on my dial looks identical to the scammer's dial, allowing for the uncertainty due to lower resolution of his photo.

^ He's back?!?!
im surprised this kid hasnt been battered by someone yet tbh .
I think pre-2016 LVs had a space before the M and post 2016 models do not.
Looks like he’s a batch of fake TT Seadwellers incoming; he’s bigging them up
In the 126603 thread.
He can't help himself, I genuinely believe the poor chap's got MH issues...
Cat's got his tongue, I reckon...
I thought this was a joke at first but evidently not. Interesting induction to the forum.
The thing is, there is nothing I can say that will convince people who’ve already made up their minds - based on rather flimsy evidence - that I am not that guy. Therefore I figure there isn’t much point in trying.
This guy is seriously creepy, and possibly criminal. He thinks it’s fun to mock us. What’s he doing on TZ? Why is he tolerated?
