There is more than a passing resemblance.
Having just read the guy's wiki page, I am obliged to conclude that Rory is in fact a very close approximation to all-around action hero James Bond.
(no actual politics please, but caricatures welcome)
There is more than a passing resemblance.
Interesting read for you:
His colourful past also came under scrutiny as he denied in a hustings ever having worked for the MI6 intelligence agency. However, the Telegraph quoted security sources claiming that Stewart had been employed as a spy for about seven years in his 20s. Another source who worked with Stewart also told the Guardian it was well known he had worked for the intelligence services.

Looks like he may be a pocket watch sort of chap.
Never! that title goes to Paddy Ashdown, Royal Marines, SBS, MI5, MI6.. Stewart doesn't look like he could punch a hole through wet paper!
He certainly fits the reality of intelligence services, which by and large are rather grey desk types
Have to say he looks more like Q from the recent movies than Bond.
I Prefer to use his real name Roderick
yes he's Rod Stewart
history teacher to the Royal Princes
when visiting his new constituency in Penrith he was asked what it was like ....'well its a bit primitive people use string to hold their pants up'....quality.
he will go far...go Rodders
Rumour has it he is very convincing in drag, which is apparently one of the requirements.
Fas est ab hoste doceri
And yes, he'd definitely fit in a holdall.
That's the second requirement
Fas est ab hoste doceri
He does not look anything like a security services operative which is just what they want one of theirs to look like!
Less james bond, more Jenny bond.
I rate him, can’t see any flaws in his plans or chinks in his armour apart from being a quirky looking fella
RIAC
Dr. No deal is better than a bad deal
The Spy Who Goved Me
Never Say Never Again:
From the TV debate I thought he was a bin man
How many languages does he speak?
'Against stupidity, the gods themselves struggle in vain' - Schiller.
He looks a bit more ‘Fantastic Beasts’ than 007 to me.
Why is he sat like that? Is it a ‘power pose’ ?
Raab's all bluster, Stewart would kick his sorry behind.
Amaze-tastic Desert Island Discs, from 2008

Looks more like Woody from Toy Story IMHO

It was all a bit unnecessary. His legs couldn’t have been wider apart if he was sat on a horse. Only one with no tie too. He’s conscious of how he comes across. The things that winds me up with them all now is how they’ve all been on the course learning how to point without pointing. This new curled index finger and thumb thing is evident in them all..... clearly the desire to point as they pontificate is so overwhelming they’ve had to find a coping strategy.
People servants.

^^^ brilliant. About sums them up. That last one with the door of no.10 and hanging his head - great capture.
Bet he knows what colour the boathouse is.

I think all this talk about what he looks like is unnecessary. Some of the most violent and unpleasant-people-in-a-fight I know are quite lithe. You'd certainly want them on your side not the other.
He was clearly trying to differentiate and distance himself from the others, no tie, very different posture.
I didn't think it was possible to look uglier or wimpier than Michael Gove but Stewart, the toothsome tory has proved me wrong.
Did Johnson get asked about his lying and the 2 jobs he lost because of it or is the altar being prepared for the Oaf?
Every time I see Rory, I'm reminded of Eddie Redmayne in 'The Danish Girl'.
______
Jim.
Oh well…. At least I get a tax cut I don’t want or need!!!
Poor old Rory - out of the race
Do you expect me to talk?
No. I expect you to be de-selected in the later stage voting.
I can't unsee him as Willem Dafoe as the green goblin

Arrogant gurning shitbag offering Gove a top cabinet position if he makes PM, Gove the rat told him basically to foxtrot! Delusions, or what?
