Surprised that we're really enjoying "Gentleman Jack". I wouldn't have bothered if Suranne Jones wasn't in it but it's a great watch.

Thanks for the recommendation - Summer of Rockets does sound my sort of thing.
So clever my foot fell off.
The Summer of Rockets was really good, haven't got around to Gentleman Jack yet. Will also be trying out Killing Eve S1/S2 next.
Enjoying Sneaky Pete S2 at the moment and already looking forward to S3.
Found a nostalgia trip series on IPlayer, half hour 'review' shows of the 90s, year by year from 1990, the music, news and the like.
Depends on your age as to its relevance I guess, I was 20 in 1990 so it hit the spot for me.
Cheers..

'Populism, the last refuge of a Tory scoundrel'.
I am finding the new season of Killing Eve on the BBC a bit 'meh' this time.
It is certainly watchable, but nowhere near as sharp as the original series. Shame.
EDIT:
Having now binged the whole series, it does improve as it goes along but series 2 is still not as dark/compelling as series 1.

I'm just on the last episode of Good Omens on Prime. I don't know how long it's been there as Amazon seem to be pretty rubbish with making their content known, but I apologise if someone has recommended this before.
It's a Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman collaboration with some Douglas Adams influence and I have to say I've enjoyed it immensely!
Michael Sheen and David Tennant play an angel and a demon respectively, trying to prevent the apocalypse after the anti-Christ goes missing. There are lots of well-known British, and a few American, faces and voices in the cast and it rattles along at a good pace with many pop-culture references littering the scenery and indeed the script, as you would expect.
It's only six episodes so not too much time investment required and definitely worth the effort in my humble opinion.
We've started watching Black List on Sky.
Quite enjoying it. Nothing too taxing so you don't have to think too much about it.
Not sure if it's been mentioned but started watching Bad Blood the other night. Basically Canadian mafia / narcos. Pretty good so far after 3 shows

Recently started watching Chernobyl - as good as everyone says. Dark, atmospheric, grim - but essential viewing.
Also watched When They See Us from Ava DuVernay on Netflix. She's an absolute master and the acting is incredible. Scary, scary, stuff. Highly recommended!

Dead to me, is pretty good on the strength of the first couple of episodes.
Not new but really got into Mum on the BBC. Part of the way through series one and loving it.
I’m enjoying the German Netflix show ‘How to sell drugs online (fast)’
just working through season 4 of billions , worth a watch from scratch if you have not heard of it.

Damages. All 4. Been out years. Don't know how this one got passed by me.
Binge watching now.
Far too many good series to watch now, just this page alone would require a full couple of weeks off work to watch.
I decided to go retro with my latest binge watch. Had full West Wing box set in a drawer for donkeys and never got round to watching it. Have now done 3 seasons in 4 weeks, should be finished by end of July/August.
anyone watching sneaky pete on prime?
15 days on channel 5 was good.

Catch 22 C4 George Clooney.
Hoping it will be good.
P.s. I thought it was and am looking forward to next week’s.
Surprised myself and enjoyed the Katie Puckrik two parter on BBC 4 on Yacht Rock. I didn’t know that ToTo was so responsible for Thriller.

Episode 1 of the last series of 'Still Game' was on BBC 1 last night, the crew are on fine form.

Just finished watching season 4 of Gomorrah. Absolutely superb
Wife & daugthers are raving about this...
I've only watched episode 1 so far...An elite group of young warriors trained in morals and martial arts finds love and friendship in Silla during Korea’s ancient Three Kingdoms period.

I like a bit of Sherlock Holmes, and have just discovered a contemporary take on it called "Elementary". It's on Amazon and stars Jonny Lee Miller, Lucy Lui and Aiden Quinn.
Very well plotted and good, fun entertaining stuff. It sort of shouldn't work, but it really does - and there's seven seasons of it so to last that long you know it has to be pretty good.
Anyone else watching or seen it?
So clever my foot fell off.
Agree wholeheartedly. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve rewatched it over the years and will continue to do so regularly. It’s just sublime! Proudly display a photo in my man cave of the main 7 characters, signed by all (including the late John Spencer) 15 years ago! Time flies.
We are currently starting the second episode of Good Omens on Amazon Prime, very enjoyable so far, in spite of David Tennant apparently doing a Bill Nighy impression for his character. Brilliant fun cameo spotting!
