^ a couple of things to look out for: 1) if you have a throw on a sofa or armchair/s, before you sit down, pick it up and check that the little guy is not sleeping underneath it. 2) secure your trash bin.

/\ /\ Looks fantastic, we must return to the Lakes soon.
^^^^^^ Now that's my kind of heaven! (jealous indeed)
There’s a couple of cats staying next door, driving Lola mad.
She keeps sticking her nose up to a knot hole for a sniff.
Little thing arrived yesterday. Shes been good as gold with no accidents off her puppy mats.
She does, however, like to get up up UP at half five in the bloody morning.
We've named her Mavis.
Well done V, hopefully Mavis will start to fit in with your sleep patterns soon.

Yes you right, she was a rescue from Battersea dogs, we adopted her when she was three years old and have had her eleven years.
She had not been treated well (very timid) and had been used for breading, never been on grass and in a cage because of the dreadful state of her worn down teeth supposed from chewing to get out.
Couldn’t get her to eat anything the first few days until we had a pizza delivered....she knew what a pizza was alright! and scoffed it down

It's one of my mutts birthday tomorrow (Chester, fat Basset), he'll be 8. I have just bought them (two dogs, the other one is Phoebe who will be 12 in August and she's a black Lab) Ł23 worth of steak, and spent Ł47 in Pets at Home on treats for them. I don't mind buying but I do mind the cooking of the steak as I don't eat poor little moo cows (or piggies or sheeps) but it's his birthday, so I must - it's a tradition :)

Mavis is settling in great. Shes unsure about her harness and likes to steal mrsv's pants. First walk in the great wild world due today.
Oh boy, when my little girl gets to see those pics she'll want to visit you!
Is it for real?, or a cuddly toy? ;)
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
Hah. She looks like butter wouldn't melt eh?
(It would. She can be a right d*ckhead sometimes !)
Here's Dot again in one of her favourite positions. Leaning over the turn of the staircase, keeping an eye on things.
Cheers,
Neil.

I had the pleasure of dog sitting Frank this weekend. He's just about a year old and dare I say, it his owners have skimped on his training. I was able to get him not to pull on the lead in the end and to return, but only if he heard the training treats bag rustle. He was incredibly keen to look out of the window, almost suicidally so. He was trying to jump from that chair onto the window sill by the open window! That's him listening to next door's children playing. He wanted to join in.
Frank is a gorgeous boy. Steal him!
Frank is awesome, my kids would love him!
Thank you all, I have to remind myself he's not actually my dog. I've got him for a long weekend in early July, so the training will continue.
I do love Daxis, I had three as a boy, but they are seriously expensive to buy and a huge responsibility. Dog sitting is probably the best way, for me, at the moment.
