After slaving in the kitchen making a sweet potato empanada for wor lass and the bairns I felt the need to replace lost fluids . . .

Seems to be the form to add a watch to the bottle - so here goes....
First and last Staropramen that was nestled in the salad drawer for some reason. Then, am sorely tempted by a glass of the red stuff.
I will not be touching the Reggae Reggae in the background....
I had a cheeky pint of Harvest Pale earlier in the evening, if I can submit that too?

Whilst drinking in the slightly bonkers Railway Bar in Hanoi it is customary to squish your bottle caps on the rails.
Well, it’s Friday, so no buggering about . . .

First time I’ve had this... wish I had more than one, it’s rather nice.

Mostly this
Tried Neck Oil drought the other day. Most excellent I thought.
I agree. Aldi has a couple of decent canned ales in currently. I picked up some of this, some Williams Brothers Rubus Grapefuit IPA and a couple of bottles of Dark Matter coffee porter. It's a shame my local Aldi doesn't seem to stock the Mud City Stout. I can no longer get Young's Double Chocolate Stout in my local Tesco either :(
Escaped a house full of cackling females for a jacket hunt up the Toon. Would be rude not to call in the Crown Posada en route back to the station . . .

Of course, as surely as night follows day, to the Bridge . . .

Heck! Have you been in that pub ALL this time!?
Long enough for the barrel to be changed! Impressive work, must be last orders by now, surely.
A lovely Kaski Kauroporter tonight in Kotka, Finland

First encountered this fine ale in Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago, and luckily it has migrated closer to me in St Andrews! 5.2abv - just right!

Hop House 13. Recommended for those who like real ale but occasionally fancy a lager

A friend has a pub in the City and a few years ago some bright young things arrived with his "summer portfolio" of ales to choose from, because the British drinker "traditionally drinks his dark ales in the winter and the lighter ones in the summer". He let some regulars loose on them, who quickly convinced them that they knew precisely nothing about drinking and drinkers. I shall indeed look out for that Ralph.
Top notch indeed, must get some in shortly.

Called in for supplies at Beer Ambleside (more of that later I expect), and it would be rude not to try a few samples whilst here. This one is a Tarn House Brewery Pale Ale, cloudy and strong on the citrus flavours which I rather like.
