If this is all that is released, last years BB58 will be even more coveted...
I guess that is one way to maintain interest in the GMT and BB58....

Can confirm it was Brian. Nipped in today, though he's not in this week, maybe at Basel. Noted interest in a possible sub.Sent from my Mi MIX 2 using TZ-UK mobile app
Popped in to St. James for some spring bars today
I did cheekily ask
They said they did not know.
That one with the crown at four is awful. Awful.
The dial and end parts of the strap make me think of this (which I'd rather have!).

Even this photo doesn't help me understand how this is put together
It is all fake as far as I can tell.
If they made this
it would be a unique case of being a genuine brand re-make of what was originally a fake.
The so-called US marines prototype from the early 1980s that this "copies" is so badly faked it hurts. Despite claiming to be from the 80s, it was originally presented with the Tudor rose logo on the dial that Tudor had not used for 20 years, on a rivet bracelet that Tudor had not used for 25 years, and with "US Marine" engraved on the back, making no sense to anyone except the non-english-speaking fakers that put it there.
I might add that the quality of this render is also very poor, with shonky detail round the crown guards and very basic graduation of the shading.
This casts the rest of the models (similarly presented in faux-catalogue print form) in an equally bad light.
I don't believe a word of it
Dave
ps Edit - one of the earlier Official teaser photos also showed what was clearly a triangle 9 marker (there was no brand script or date near it, so not 3, 6 or 12). This has a linear 9 marker, making no reference to the earlier Tudor teaser

I stand totally corrected, the piece I was reading about the prototype dated it to the 80s, whereas it seems it was 1960s, hence the older details.
It is truly not an attractive watch at all, I am very disappointed.

Tudor blackbay P01. What have they done !!.!!??? A mess.
They will hire 3 year old toddlers to make them sketches?
I take it they don’t release over two days - ie there isn’t more to come?
Certainly does, didn't get the bronze call right, but maybe that's a good thing?
Oh, how my proudness of being on a Tudor sub list feels so hollow now...
Might get a BB58 then.. or an Omega..

Where is this then, is it the 12 mark on the fugly P01, or do you think they are holding something back?
Pleeeeeees..........make it not so, surely this is all a bad dream and we will wake up soon.
We know Tudor have had a bloody profitable year to date. We can only assume they spent it all on crack.
