    Tudor BB GMT

Had the call (well it was an email actually) and they have a BB GMT "Pepsi" with my name on it. Frustrating, because I'd pretty much forgotten about getting one, and I've sent the Zenith (El Primero Flyback) off for a good sorting and that's going to cost a fair few beer tokens.

Trying to decide what to do now.

You can see where this CP2 Zenith design originated.
Right down to the 30 minute counter. Great, simple design.

Yeah, difficult to find one which is nice and half-reasonably priced. Everybody who has one knocking about seems to think they have won the lotto. Offer-prices and real trades vary by a huge margin, but difficult to convince sellers that their expectations are unfounded. In the end I decided to go for auction, after all the best mechanism to find out the true value. It worked well, with a little hiccup (but that is for another day).

Thanks for your help connecting me with the man who knows everything about them, that was really helpful. Me happy.

This photo was snapped five minutes after it arrived on that strap.

Will need to look for a better strap before taking the Friday pic tomorrow....

It looks a nice example to my untrained eye. Pleased you managed to find one. I'm more than a bit jealous.

New arrival, didn't like the bracelet, so onto one of Andrea's lovely Martu straps post haste.

Liking it so far, will be a good 'grab and go' I think.

Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

Nice little cheap strap. £9.99 or 2 for £18. Wasn't expecting the spring bars or the tool.

And yet so many claim the ‘heft’ is what makes this watch (and other precious metal models) ?
