I can't help you with the pictures but can say welcome to the forum. And congratulations on getting budget approval! That can be the hardest part.
Hello, new fella here!
Seriously smitten by the Smiths Everest and have cleared a new watch purchase with the 1st National Bank of Wife...
but I am on the fence with the 40 and 36mm choices.
I have a very flat, 6.5 inch, wrist and as such wanted to reach out here and see if anyone could offer me a side by side comparison photo of the two sizes (or even better, a 40 and a 36 photograph on the same similarly sized wrist to mine)?
Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the forum. I have both the original Everest and a 36mm. No wrist shots, but for a size comparison . . .

Now if only there was a 38mm version......
The previous Everest has an acrylic crystal but both of the new models are sapphire.
The old model was only available in the larger size.
Also note that along with the acrylic crystal the dial minute / second markers have been slightly shortened and IIRC the hands are slightly longer... to my eyes this balances the watch much better than the older version (opinions vary).
My 7/75 - 8 inch wrist makes the 40 look slightly on the small side of just right but then I'm used to 42+mm watches and they aren't getting a look in day to day, so it must be doing something right.
(Speaking solely from looking at photos....many many photos...for many many hours...)
I had got so used to the character of the Mark 1 dial with its long minute markers that although I could see exactly why people pressed for the changes now seen in the Mark 2 dial I find it's the original that my eyes prefer to dwell on. Together with the nice fat handset, as a copy of the 50s design, wayward; as a coherent and attractive design in itself, very successful.
(I was very sad when I concluded that the long lugs together with the protruding central section of the bracelet's endlinks would be too much for my wrist)
Wrist size alone is not the only consideration. I've got a 40mm being returned because it's too small and a 36mm returned because it's too big.

Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
Absolutely correct. Due to my small wrist, I have now set a hard limit of max. 48mm L2L. I won't even consider anything above that. That being said, for me smaller is generally better. My best fitting watches have L2L of 42 (Glycine Combat 6 36mm) and 43.5 (36mm Everest).
7.5 inch wrist.
Get the 36mm, or get both!

Congrats on your choice - I was lucky enough to acquire 36mm recently. Photos don't do it justice- I was very surprised at how good this watch looks
An email has been sent toward the purchase of a 36mm... growing very excited!!
Thank you all once again for the great input!!
36mm Everest has been purchased and, Eddie you're a rock star, is already en route to me across the Big Pond!!
So excited!!
UPS says, "Out for Delivery"!!
Today's the day!!
How do I post photos? When attempting to upload I am getting a pop-up stating that the file size is such & such and my files are too big... any method to over-ride this without resizing?
Looks great, I'm liking this watch more and more.
Day #4 with my ol' Smitty 36'er, and I am still absolutely in love with it!!
A couple recent photos for you all...
Hello there, pleased to meet you...
Day #5 Smiths Everest 36'er -- chamfered lines that fall away into buttery smoothness and lugs that drip onto the wrist like the arc of a dolphin entering water.
Really enjoying this timepiece thoroughly!!
I really can't way to see this 36 black PRS-25 with the riveted oyster bracelet and slightly modified hands ...
Day #6 with my Smiths 36'er... still absolutely adoring this lil' fella!!
Day #7... still love this watch!!
You could add a post with all the pictures, and all the other owners of the PRS-25 36mm could add their photos too, and maybe asking to Eddie to make it a "sticky" post in order to remain always visible in first page. This could help also other potential buyers in order to give them a visual feeling of this beautiful watch.
Took delivery precisely one week ago today -and- still completely dig this lil' 36mm fella!
Day #9

Day #10...
Such a great timepiece!!
The 36mm Everest really is a great watch. I've been wearing mine a lot since it arrived last year. It's been keeping some nice (to me, and IMHO) watches off my wrist, see pictures below. I wonder what you lads have in your watch boxes that aren't getting wrist time now?
