Congratulations to the winners, I will be in touch
I know that for all of you it is far more about supporting the worthy causes than winning prizes so many, many thanks for the support.

A lot of fun always. Laura is turning into quite the fundraiser, with a little help from her Dad.

Great total. Well done.

Well that was exciting! Congratulations to the winners and to Matthew and family for a successful campaign. It's nothing less than heartwarming to see an online community rally in such a sincerely supportive manner. Onward and upward... (which includes me peeking at the Smiths site every other hour).

WOW! Sorry, still sinking in, I never win anything- until now! Again many thanks to Mr C and of course the lovely Laura
Yippee!
I think we all won, suds.
It's not every day that I am happy about squandering ten pounds!
Congratulations to the winners but most of all to Mr Curta and the charity, a brilliantly run event both in spirit and logistically. It was fun to take part.
Thanks Matthew, super raffle and I hope Laura feels justifiably proud of your family’s fundraising :)
Great effort by all involved, when is the next one ;)
Well done to all for raising some much needed cash to help beat this awful disease, I bury yet another family member who died from cancer next Friday so know first hand the pain it can cause.
But on a lighter note it’s great that Laura is doing doing well and thank you to Mathew for organising.
What a pleasant surprise to log on to tonight, what a fantastic gesture Matthew and great to know it’s for such a good cause. Thank you to Laura for pulling my number from the pot and it will be my first ever Seiko so looking forward to putting it on my wrist, I’ll post some pictures when I do
Great effort from the forum too, this place really does have a certain ‘feel good’ factor about it when it comes to charity fundraising and long may it last.
Congratulations to all the winners, welcome to the club. I’m wearing my Speedbird as I type this.
Well done to Matthew and Laura for another great fundraiser!
Just realised - Laura has made me a watch collector!
I only really started about 6 months ago and this acquisition puts my collection in Double figures.
Congratulations to the winners - and to Matthew for his great generosity. I guess I shall have to wait to win till the next one...!
Great prizes, even greater cause! Congratulations to all involved.
Thank you Mr C! Smith's Everest arrived today, extremely well packaged. I am surprised at how much this watch exudes quality - now I understand why Eddie's watches are so well regarded by forum members. Although photos don't do this watch justice (I'm loving it in the flesh) I'll try to post some pics tomorrow. Once again thanks to all involved 🤗😘😘😘
Bracelet not yet sized but feels excellent on my puny wrist.

Glad you are enjoying your prize. Mine arrived yesterday similarly well packed. Lovely little watch in great condition (except or the scratch I've already put on it).

It is always lovely to hear about the watches arriving at their new homes, thanks!
The icing on the cake is that there have been a couple of donations after the event, bringing the total to an absolutely magnificent £1,500. That's three times my initial target and really is a huge boost to Nicola's Fund.

We've just had an e-mail from JustGiving advising that this fundraiser was one of their most successful in February, in the top 3%.
Thanks everybody!

Ignorance breeds Fear. Fear breeds Hatred. Hatred breeds Ignorance. Break the chain.
Well done!
Thats brilliant, you should be very proud.
Well done. You should rightly be proud and happy.
Gutted I missed this as I've been seriously looking at the Smiths explorer... Excellent work and a great cause. Well done!
A quick update on this.
As I described in the opening post, Nicola’s Fund provides immense support and enjoyment to children during their treatments and ongoing recovery, as well as to their siblings and wider family.
Laura, along with her sister, mum and grandmother are currently spending a week in a holiday home on the Welsh coast that everybody who supported this has helped to provide. It is very timely as she has had a bit of a rotten three months very slowly recovering from a nasty bout of glandular fever which knocked her sideways. It's a chance for them all to relax and spend quality time together away from the distractions of home.
Starting in about two weeks time
Don't forget, there's something stashed in my man fridge
