This just came up on my Facebook feed and I got very excited. Then I realised that it was 42mm. If only this was 40mm or less I'd be in.

Hmmm...🤔 so that had the tachometer scale that you were originally going to use. What made you delete it? (Not saying it was a bad idea - just curious to know the reasoning 🙂)

I thought it made the dial look too busy.

I guess its all a matter of personal choice - but to me, looking at the wrist shots, it doesn't look to big.

Something you have to try on - rather tan just take the hard measurements - because shape of the case etc can make a watch look bigger or smaller - for instance Doxa;s always wear smaller than they actually are (at least in my eyes)

There could be a problem finding it, the watches have not been packed with the numbers consecutive like the last 3 deliveries, the numbers are all over the place and with 40 trays of 10 in 4 big boxes, I don't propose taking them all out. This one is going to be pot luck.

I thought that price was a misprint, had to check it on the TF website for confirmation, an absolute bargain for a watch of that quality, hats off to you Eddie.

    Only £265 without the bracelet.

Any chance these Precista branded straps will be available for sale separately?

Order complete at 7.32 am (I’m currently at GMT + 4 and my meeting in a place where phones are not allowed finished on time - phew!) for the Aerotimer on leather strap

    Looks great, very good value

I'm relatively new to this watch hobby (2014) but I've tried enough watches on by now to know that anything with a 'sports bezel' over 40mm starts to look like the watch is wearing me rather than me wearing the watch. For watches without a sports bezel I find 38mm is the maximum I can go to before it looks too large. My maximum case size for all dial designs is 36mm.

Yes its a superb timepiece i thought the renditions and pre-sale pictures were good but on the wrist its fantastic. Lighter than i expected wearing a lot smaller too, the bracelet is my first BOR and so far exceptionally comfortable the clasp which looks to be the same as the Everest one except for the polished center panels is again very functionable having the micro adjustment and i have no issues with it, all chronograph functions are crisp and easy to use and the dial is a delight to look at, the bezel is a stunner the curve of the insert something i wasn't expecting.

Another winner IMHO. And yes an awful lot of watch for the price but exceptional VFM too.

    Cheers.

    That looks great, brummie.

I'm going to have to order one.

I was going to pass on the Aerotimer due only to it's being 42mm, and trying to limit my watch purchases with the Speedbird, and the new PRS-3 and Carribean coming out, but it looks so good I really want to give it a try.

I picked up an Alpinist a couple weeks back after wanting one for several years, but much to my surprise I'm not bonding with it. The green and gold are just not working for me. Funny, I always preferred the Alpinist to the SARB033 when I had neither, but once I purchased both...I really, really like the -033 for wear with a suit, and can't find a place for the Alpinist. i want to love it; but, I just don't.

Point of the foregoing being I'll be moving the Alpinist along which should provide additional watch funds for...the Aerotimer,

Funny how these things work out sometimes.

    You are right there BigBluefish.

I was only last week thinking of just limiting my purchases for 2019 to the Everest 36mm white and maybe the G10 when it comes out as i'm still undecided what to move on of my bigger/heavier watches. Until someone in one of the earlier threads commented how it may differ when on the wrist. Thinking back to my Gruppo Gamma Chrononaut that was exactly the same scenario. the only problem now is i'm already eyeing up other models on the drawing board for possible purchase.

Not that i own a suit but the 45 would look good peeking out from under a cuff or two.
