Mercedes C Wagon W204, model year 2012
Volvo V70 2.0F model year 2010 for the wife
Before Merc I had a Jag XF, year 2008. Loved it. My next could be a newer XF Wagon.
Interesting! I would have bought the Elise S many years agai when they were about £24k new...only, I couldn’t fit in it at 6 foot 3ish!
That said, a guy from the Lotus forum visited me in his exile which was spot on for room but I never took the plunge in the end. I’d still like a Lotus one day but the money they are charging now makes them less appealing to me as you can get something the whole family can enjoy for similar money. Never say never I guess!

Absolutely love it. I never wanted to sell my S2 240 Exige but it made way for an extension. I always vowed to have another when I could and i loved the look of the V6 Exige when released. Took a few years but finally got back into one. Every drive is an event, it feels special every time I drive it.
That said, the mini is also great fun, running around 225bhp and the supercharger whine is great. I’ve had much more powerful cars but the mini is a hoot at sensible speeds.
Picked a new one up at the weekend which probably wont be popular on here.
It has a general feeling of invincibility and wouldn't normally be my cup of tea but the deal I got was insane!
It's a BMW X6 Msport. It will likely go to my wife at some point in the near future but until then I'm actually really enjoying it!

I'm three years too late in updating this!
Sold my CLK and purchased a black Defender 90:
When I bought it it looked like this:
Now it looks like this:
There is something so pleasing about a well kitted out LR 90.
Different wheels and an air freshener?
I posted a 'photo a couple of months back however here are a couple of better ones - my 111s that has been enjoyed for not that far off 10 years now.

Very nice.
Black is my favourite colour!
Mine was parked up safely at work for the first day of snow and I had a Fod Mondeo on the drive to get me in. To be fair it battled its way through the country lanes and got me there, but I think the Defender would have made less of a meal of it.

This is one of mine , hope the link works if not I will try again
Here are my 2. First, the princess. I’ve had this for 2 years and have been thankful for the warrantee when the diff needed to be changed at 25k! I bloody love it though, and the noise is Epic!
And the daily. We call it Golf-Box it’s awesome super power is its total ordinaryness.
Love the F Type, my dad has the convertible V6s and I sometimes get to borrow it when he’s away. I never get tired of the noise, dynamic mode, exhaust open, roof down through a tunnel and lift off the throttle at any revs and it’s like machine gun fire, very childish but amazing sound. My only gripe is the width of the bloody thing, it was wider than my old E90 M3 and only fit through thre garage door frame with barely 5mm each side. Then once inside the door opened about a foot before touching the wall so I had to put the roof down and climb out the back.
If I had a bigger garage I probably would have bought the V8 version instead of my Exige.
Cheers , I didn’t know if it would go over the heads of some , it’s the ex press car and #1 so worth a few bob to the ford perverts ( like me ) Alpine is a stunning car
I have a modest 2L Diesel BMW X1 with @160 bhp toque @220 lbs maybe anyway I took it to Jordan https://youtu.be/kcPc18SG6uA (very pro setup) great guy he footles with it and stage 1 tuned it . Now I have @210bhp and @310 lbs. smooth as butter and great useable spread. anyone thinking of a gentle, or even a more thorough fiddle, and lives in the North/North East, this guy is very worth considering.
can't remember is it feet or pounds for torque or both?

Range Rover Sport 2005 - Supercharged - 5lr V8
Love it I really do. Pretty guzzly on petrol tho 😬
New cill and inner rear arch added to the M3. Outer arch going on shortly once a new battery box arrives hopefully one day this week.
Citroen Xsara Picasso, 2002, 105,600 miles on the clock. Had it from 3 years old, ex mobility car with 11,000 on the clock when I got it. Dragged the trailer tent all over the UK, took us to France too, us and three bairns. Seats out it's a van or each can be removed or folded flat individually, I've collected beds and taken old 3 pieces to the tip with it. A pal who is BMW mechanic takes care of it for me, I fix his fences and bicycles in exchange. Does less than 1500 miles per year now as my runabout, the C4 is the main car now. Paid £7,000 for the Xsara and got the C4 as a 4yr old trade in at BMW with 20+k on the clock for £4,600. Know a lad with a 2005 Picasso, 2ltr auto with 26,000 on the clock that's my next car if he sells it . . . or he dies!
PS. The lad who takes care of my cars wanted first dibs on my Picasso, but he's now got a Volvo V60 diesel with @ 200,000 on the clock, top of the range in it's day, full leather etc, paid £400 from a mate at work. Won't swap though! B*****d!

Bought this a few months ago now as a second car run about and have to say it's been great so far and really enjoy driving it although preferably not on motorways. I didn't realise these have quite a mini cult following as well, with lots of waves from fellow owners and a very helpful owners club. They're supposed to be fantastic in the snow as well as green laning so I'm ready for winter!!

Company car policy has changed for the worse - we can only order non hybrids with much lower purchase price.
Or about £10k more for hybrids. However, there is little choice for hybrids (right now) in that price range.
The BMW 530e is out of policy due to higher purchase price (Although it’s only £20/month more to lease).
So I’m just about to order one of these ...
It’ll save me a packet in BIK & be a yawn a minute.

We bought a Civic Type R just before Christmas and have enjoyed having the holidays to explore its capabilities. It certainly lives up to the hype and is very much the light, athletic tactile car many reviewers describe. Coming from Evo's and STi's with a few German & Italian cars in recent years, it really is a sensational machine. Pic was taken on the approach to the Evo triangle. Lookng forward to some warmer and dryer days.

I have never been interested in cars, probably due to the awful crap that I have owned: Yugo 55, Skoda 120, Fiat 128, Ford Cortina estate. My then wife used to crash every time she went out, and usually into nice new cars. A few years ago I decided that I no longer wanted to drive, and was in the financial position to be driven everywhere. Simultaneously I started to take the bus every morning - £2.05 each way, and soon to be free!

Its worthy of consideration Monty, depending on what you have now the shallower depreciation on the CTR may help as some justification to the OH
Its a very pratical car - offers good fuel economy, has a large boot which can carry lots of stuff and has all the gizmos expected of a car in 2018. Its not too much of a compromise given the driving excitement on offer
