Just watched season 1 of Benidorm (all the seasons are on Youtube). I thought this kind of good old-fashioned, vulgar, politically-incorrect sitcom wasn't being made anymore. Lots of laugh-out-loud moments.
Trust is very good.
Cathedral by the Sea - netflix
Documentary - the Defiant ones
The Haunting of Hill House. I’m 2 episodes in and it’s fantastically creepy
Blindspot is back and Ray Donovan returns at the end of this month. Ray Donovan's rumoured to have got rid of his Merc and got a Cadillac.

Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
I've just watched The Man In The High Castle Season 3.
Brilliant stuff, again. Can't recommend it highly enough.
So clever my foot fell off.
Ozark. Strange, funny at times, violent at times. Just got to the end of season 1. Well worth a watch.

Just started The Haunting of Hill House, properly scary stuff and really well put together. Really enjoying it so far!

I have just finished the one off series called Maniac on Netflix and found it to be a great watch.
Couldn’t stop watching until the end.
If you like series like Stranger Things, The Rain or Utopia you might like this.
It is a little weird and surreal set in what appears to be a near future reality.
It stars a slimmed down Jonah Hill, Justin Theroux and academy award winner Emma Stone.
I enjoyed it and would be interested to hear other people’s views.

Agreed, it's brilliant. One of the best TV miniseries' I've seen. It's basically a really long film with ocasional episodic arcs. It's like a weird mix of Terry Gilliam, Stanley Kubrick and Quentin Tarantino.
I hope Netflix goes on to make more truly original stuff like this, and doesn't make a sequel.
I say original, but it's actually loosely based on a Norwegian miniseries of the same name. It's also on Netflix. I haven't watched it yet but apparently they are only very loosely connected. It's more "inspired by" than a remake.
Halfway through haunting of hill house.
Very clever and original

Two for the BBC IPlayer users:
1. Killing Eve - excellent watch, even if a bit far fetched at times. Thoroughly enjoyable.
2. The Informer - just binged the lot over the past few days. Again a bit far fetched in places, but a very good watch otherwise.
killing eve, very good
ozark, a little far fetched but worth watching
Jack Ryan..was enjoyable
Just started Get Shorty...looks like its worth watching
This weeks typically clever special live edition of Inside No. 9 is available on iPlayer, along with all 24 previous episodes.
I watched the first episode of The Little Drummer Girl from the beeb.
I know it's got some good reviews but, tbh, I didn't think it was brilliant. Perhaps I was thinking it would be another Tinker Taylor... You know that proper gritty fiction that the beeb used to do. It's just a little too slick and 'the drummer' is a particularly irritating character... easy on the eye though.
Not new but! They are rerunning the west wing on Sky Atlantic, we never watched it first time around so have been recording it and watching it, it’s really good
Resurrection Ertugrul.
A massive hit in Turkey and the first two seasons are available on Netflix.
If you are into game of thrones type and can hack subtitles, this will be right up your street.
I've just started season 5!
We just started watching Bodyguard.
Recently discovered Luther on Iplayer. Just ploughed through the first series - brilliant, really good characters and each of them morally ambiguous.
Almost finished The Haunting of Hill House - really enjoyed it, even though horror isn't my thing (though this is not strictly in that category IMHO).
Anyone watched The Staircase on Netflix? I thought it was an absolutely brilliant murder documentary. Well worth a watch if you like Making a murderer type of programme
Watched 'Don't watch this' horror shorts on Netflix.
Ruddy hell. Good and horrible.
Had an email today from Netflix, The Ballad Of Buster Scruggs will be available on the 16th (a week Friday). it's a new six part western anthology from the Coen Brothers, could be worth a look.....
Watched 3 episodes of "Press" last night, it's excellent.

Watched the fist episode of Mars season 2 last night. This is a great show with a mixture of fact and fiction. Lots of interesting stuff and some good interviews too
Just finished Condor, thought it pretty good and definitely worth a watch.
If it hasn’t already been mentioned, Check out making a murderer on Netflix. Unreal story and documentary
People Just Do Nothing Season 5 starts tonight on BBC2 10pm.
Might not be everyone's cup of tea but Chabuddi G tips the whole thing onto a "genius" level for me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obHVXrqogr8
Beige don't age!
I'm genuinely gutted that House of Cards has finally come to an end. I began watching the sixth and final season with some trepidation due to Kevin Spacey's departure; like it or not he was Frank Underwood, but it was just as good, if not better, than previous seasons.
In the absence of a seventh season I'm hoping for a spin-off series, in the same vein as what Better Call Saul has become to Breaking Bad.
Started watching Bloodline on Netflix and about halfway through S1 - not bad, so far.
Is anyone else enjoying Young Sheldon?
For me, series 1 was good but the comedy tailed off in the later episodes. The start of series 2 wasn't great but Episode 3 - A Crisis of Faith and Octopus Aliens has made me laugh out loud. I'm picking on things like the stickers in the back window of George's truck.
Watch a couple of episodes to appreciate the family dynamic and you'll get more enjoyment out of the series, IMO.
Oh...I haven't watched a single episode of The Big Bang Theory.
