I have an E92 325D for daily duties, can't seem to find a picture of it on my phone though.
Weekend toy is a 1993 Mazda RX7, it's been stripped down to a bare shell, repainted and built up using some of the best parts on the market. First time ever doing something like this so it's taken 2 years almost to get to this point, but with the help of friends it's been a lot of fun! Currently running in the new engine and then will take it for mapping :)
This was my dream car as a teenager, they say never to meet your hero's but on that review I just might have to!

Wow, I’ve got a fairly similar width garage to yours, judging by how tight my Z4M fits, and couldn’t even begin to contemplate what you’re doing with the space, hats off to you sir.
Also zero mechanical ability also ensures I could not do it either!!
Brother in law has a huge double garage and workshop, very jealous of his space to work in. At least I get to use it for machine polishing when required.

Some lovely stuff on here. Over the years I've tried a mix of having one car that does it all and two cars that do different things. I think I've settled with the latter and as a result I have:
1. A Mercedes C350CDi (which replaced the C350 petrol next to it) for the daily commute and family stuff at weekends.
2. A Mini Cooper S (which replaced an MG ZR 160) for fun and trackdays
Re the SUV point, my wife has a Q5 which she bought new and loves, but personally I don't think it rides any better than my Mercedes and it certainly rolls more. We test drove an SQ5 at the time (it was all the dealer had) and I remember thinking how stiff the ride was and how glad I was that she opted for a less sporty one.
Volvo V70 D5, after previous S Class Merc and BMW 530 repairing bill, Volvo is like a god send!
Recently picked up my first BMW, an F10 5 series. Very pleased with it.

“Don’t look back, you’re not heading that way.”
I drive an ancient worthless Mazda 6 that is older than my children. It has been extremely reliable. I am considering a slightly less ancient Mazda 6 to replace it.
But I have a nice bike at least.
Back in my comfort zone. one of the last F15 V8 50i MSport, sheer bliss after 900 miles in one hit, and a good deal to boot !
Mineral metallic white, comes out superbly in the bright sunshine.

Three weeks and 900 mile into owning this. Came out of 65 plate A5 which I loved for three years. This feels like a step up in quality and certainly tech. Negotiated 27% off list on a PCP deal last month.

Well we've had a great time with the e55, very much a family favourite. So much so that when this popped up, and passed an inspection, it seemed rather a no brainer as a daily for my wife. Having run it for a couple of weeks, just to check everything you understand, it really is rather nice
really well screwed together for 14 yr old car. It helps I know a very nice chap, ex MB tech, who now works for himself so was able to get it thoroughly checked before I bought it.
1st Mercedes for me. Was very happy with my BMW before. I think this is up a level now tho.

I decided to chop in my Outback for a Range Rover. I have always wanted one so decided it was now or maybe never.

Dropped the JCW off and picked up the M4 this morning. Rapid seems a fair way to describe it, certainly a steep learning curve ahead as do different to my Z4M in power & delivery.

My latest is this mx5 Kuro edition. The previous owner was kind enough to fit a BBR supercharger conversion
It goes pretty well but coming from a c63 probably dulls it a little.
Well, my poor old Boxster was officially written off by my insurers last week after about a month of thinking about it. I was toying between a convertible Mini and one of those forum darlings, and this is now sitting on my drive. It's a 2010 (Mk 3.5 facelift) 2.0 SE with low mileage and not a mark on it. I've just driven it about 65 miles home, and it's an absolute joy. Far more engaging than the Boxster, although i did notice the back twitch on a couple of corners (I was going pretty quickly and it was chucking it down, mind).
So far, very happy indeed, although i think I'll let Skuzzle work some magic on it in the spring (the basic upgrades take it from 158 to 200bhp).
Nice mx, what happened to the Boxster?
Also is it just the pictures? the bonnet look a different shade to the rest of the panels around it.
