    That really is awful.
    Please don’t hold back 

I think it’s a cool looking watch, obviously borrowing something from Richard Mille and B&R. But all the same, pretty cool!

He's right. I should sell it and buy a Rolex Submariner. To hell with Steinhart and their homages and to hell with them when they try something outside the box.

I wouldn’t put the watch on my dog, sorry but one of the best watch reviews I’ve ever read.

    Utter brilliance!!

Makes a change from the typical sports Rolex thread, or more recently "diddums I'm not special enough to be on a Rolex list" thread.

Looks alright for the money, and it's nice to have a few out there pieces to break up the monotony of what can easily become a samey same collection.

Quite. I looked across my collection and was dismayed to see a line of black dials and crowns at 4 o'clock. The obvious thing to do then was to sell a blue dial and replace it with a skull... there's little rationality to this hobby sometimes.

To have a watch that’s prob guaranteed to be more of a talking point than almost any other....prob makes this a bargain. Nice one OP

I quite like it, certainly made me smile when it popped up on the Friday thread this week. Thumbs up for shelling out and not caring on the resale, I've easily lost £1k on a lot of the watches I've bought over the last 6-7 years, I'd prefer to buy the watchs I like, sadly these all ship money but I get the watch I like until I choose to move it on.

‘Momento Mori’ designs in the world of jewellery have quite a history. I think the idea is to have something which reminds you of your mortality. ‘Live for today’ and all that. Doesn’t float my boat at all personally but I’m all for something a bit different for a change!

The $2000 one was on a FB post so not sure how genuine it was, but they were always going to go over list. Not my cup of tea, but I do like the fact he does limited runs of different stuff

$2000, £1500 in real money, that's an optimistic chap. No chance.

It's not for me but I appreciate that it's something different and good to see on the forum.

Just had email from gnomon. They have 10 skulls available now.

I'm happy Steinhart are trying something different - they clearly know what they're doing in making good quality watches, but you do want small companies to put original ideas and not just homage based products.

I hope it encourages them to do more whacky thing - maybe one will be to my taste!

Well that's weird! Does it say what numbers they have available?

Interestingly, listed at 50 quid cheaper than Steinhart, although there'll be tax to pay, but still puts the brakes on that $2000 eBay listing somewhat!
