Apologies to the OP for the derailment of your thread.
Well done! You have just announced your sole purpose, level of maturity and true contribution intent to this thread. Clearly, it's not to value add.
Pathetic!
I don't need a photo to provide evidence. Fleet resourcing is one of his main responsibilities.
Space...? Are you a Space Cadet? You are Rocket Man and I claim my £5.
Really? 'Thinking' was a turn of phrase, mixed with a little sarcasm. But hold on, what have we here?
To use your own words, 'you're basing your argument on what you think now?' Oh dear....
Provide evidence like I asked you before in an earlier post, which you conveniently decided to ignore.
If (for example), my contributing a fact about HMS QE being designed around the F35B, is considered by you as 'not having done well', then we have quite a different definition of contribution.
Your level of contribution on the other hand...
I have not abandoned the NATO topic whatsoever, there you go, making up stuff again.
You continue to respond with misquotation or massaging of my responses. If you put as much effort into constructing a valid response, well, who knows what you could achieve.
Give the readership some credit.
You post, hoping that members have not read the entire thread for context. Then, you make pathetic attempts at trying to make yourself look clever with your creative writing, when in actual fact, you portray yourself as completely the opposite.
Let's get this thread back on track.
If you must, just PM me.
QE is anchored in Mounts Bay at the moment, if anyone wants to see it.
Superb and perfectly topical photo.

I guess we can forget the "Come in #5 jokes" now.
More from Mounts Bay.

She really isn’t very pretty, especially from the side, and even less so next to a beautiful monument.
I am fully aware she was never designed to be pretty. 🤡

Great photographs.
I usually keep an eye on https://www.vesselfinder.com/?p=1725 to see when she's on the move.
The last time she's was due back into Pompey I drove down only to be disappointed as the arrival had been cancelled due to high winds.
Since the webcam on HMS Warrior has been off line it's been difficult to see what's going on in the harbour, and it appears most of the navy's larger ships go ' Dark' when moving nowadays and don't show up on Vesselfinder.
Another useful site is https://www.royalnavy.mod.uk/qhm/por...ate=16/06/2018 you can usually tell if anything is on the move if there's a gathering of Tugs. then keep an eye on http://www.camsecure.co.uk/portsmout...ur_webcam.html or https://isleofwightwebcams.co.uk/solent-webcam/
Oh the joy's of retirement !!!!

Zooming in - it does look like the airfix kit I made several decades ago.

And new Captain, since Kyd is clearly talking out of his thrust vectoring rear exhaust nozzle..

I am referring to the bit below.
LINKCommanding Officer Capt Jerry Kyd said Moscow's actions must be taken seriously by having credible armed forces that are ready to respond.
Speaking onboard HMS Queen Elizabeth, he said: 'Novichok and Salisbury has yet again demonstrated that you must maintain credible, balanced and ready forces.'
He said this must be maintained 'across all three services, not least aircraft carriers at sea, to enable us to protect the security of our people'.
Senior military officers added that with the new aircraft carrier and its jets, Russia – with its 'limping' ships – would be no match for Britain in a naval battle.
Their comments come amid rising tensions between Britain and Russia after the poisoning of former Russian spy Sergei Skripal in the UK.
It emerged this week that one of the two suspects in the Salisbury poisoning is a highly-decorated officer in Russia's military intelligence service (GRU).
Capt Kyd warned that the threats facing the UK from Vladimir Putin must be taken seriously, as he warned against any future cuts.
He said: 'What we are seeing now is a resurgent Russia which is presenting a credible threat again to the western states and the rules-based system and that must be taken seriously.'
Asked if there was a naval battle between Britain and Russia who would win, Rear Admiral Keith Blount, assistant chief of the naval staff, said: 'We would.'
He should really stick to the job at hand rather than sockpuppeting unproven conspiracy theories and as far as Adm Blount comment is concerned, unless Royal Navy miraculously acquired hypersonic intercept/kill capabilities in the past couple of months, he better keep that thing away from high-end/full spectrum superiority capable adversaries and use as intended - to scare the cr@p out of savages. Just saying.

LOL, actually it’a the best thing which happened to me after I got rid of the telle. Things are good for you in moderation including obsessive unstable dribbling lunatics and brainwashed frightened old dears who seek safety in numbers.
PS I see the entire F35 fleet is grounded, so it’s back to be the bigest air carrier ))

Random, as he's not mentioned elsewhere in this thread prior to your comment, then later provided link.
It's not uncommon for an aircraft fleet to be grounded due to an airworthiness concern, that's what the airworthiness framework is for. To maintain continued suitability for safe flight, taking remedial action as required.
Imagine if we didn't have it.
F-35 jet trials 'rolling' landing
A Royal Navy F-35 fighter jet has conducted the first "rolling" landing on board its newest aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth.
The new method of landing differs from the aircraft's usual vertical descent and means the planes can land with a heavier load...
ICYMI. It's highly likely that Putin was driving his car on the weekends.
Zee LINKYHMS Queen Elizabeth captain sacked for 'using official car at weekends'
The captain of the Royal Navy's largest and most powerful ship ever has been sacked from his role for driving an official car on weekends, according to reports.
Nick Cooke-Priest had been captain of HMS Queen Elizabeth since October last year - a vessel described by the navy as an "awe-inspiring warship" capable of carrying up to 40 aircraft.

I can see the two of them if I walk up the road a bit.
Relieved of his command is the official term I think.
Hardly sacked, still in the Royal Navy, but misuse of tax payer assets is a serious matter anywhere, never mind the military.
How ridiculous. It is a ford galaxy and apparently he wasn’t told he couldn’t use it on weekends and he paid for his own fuel.
It is not like it is a chauffeur driven Rolls
Royce incurring significant cost to the taxpayer
Sky News - enemies of the people, sowing discord and trying to undermine our democratic values and rules based order.
I always thought Ford is paying people to appear in their cars, as for Galaxy there is no money in the world.. The only excuse is if he used it for dogging.

A strange story which is rapidly becoming more and more bizarre..
Zee LINKYSacked captain Nick Cooke-Priest still in command despite being flown off aircraft carrier
The captain of a UK aircraft carrier has been dramatically flown off the ship following his sacking last week.
Nick Cooke-Priest was helicoptered off HMS Queen Elizabeth "as a precautionary measure", according to an official Royal Navy statement.
It said: "In light of the ongoing investigation, as a precautionary measure to protect both the individual and the ship's company the Royal Navy has decided that Captain Nick Cooke-Priest will not be at sea in HMS Queen Elizabeth."
Bizarrely though, he remains in official command of the ship until a successor takes over next week.
