Thank you Andrew, not that easy to rate them. The Black is different as it doesn't have the larger even numbers and it has the spiders web effect on the dial and it is a classic Black dial SS set up. The Green Dial has the Gold numbers and hands and is easily the rarest of the three. The Cream Dial is an oddity with Gold numbers and hour and minute hand, but a SS second hand. I did think at first that the second hand had been replaced, but looking at Google images they are all like that.
Probably, Green, Black, Cream - but very little in it.
I agree they do look good and it totally changes the look of the watch, it's a worthwhile expense. I sent off a 777K at the same time to be fitted with the same crystal and while it was away I got a 777J in trade. It's amazing how different the two watches look side by side.
Early morning sunshine, really makes the dial pop
Nice dial, love the blue.

SKXA35 from a WTB here... Actually favour it over my venerable SKX007 dog walking watch.
New arrival: immaculate 1968 Seiko DX (5139-7010) with a whiff of Datejust about it, just fitted with very pleasing Pav79 strap:
Showing out of stock now unfortunately.

Although I've got a couple of Monsters in the box I'm only just starting to appreciate the style and understand the allure of Seiko. It probably has something to do with the realisation that there's only so many Rolex I can't afford to buy
I've just posted a similar reply to another thread regarding my ignorance when it comes identifying Seiko models so please go easy on me!
Absolutely stunning - the dial pops enough as it is just in the pics alone! What model is it?
Model number please?
Is that a modded Seiko or a model in its own right?
Again, love that blue dial - what model is it?
Sorry to be a pain guys...

A ten year quest for finding a rather cheap but rather rare Seiko 150m dive watch with orange dial came to its end today. I have picked this up today from customs (came from Peru): 1982 Seiko 6309-729B
Average condition and came with an AM bezel insert but I had one of Yobokies excellent repro inserts which looks very nice imho. Yes there are better Seikos out there but sometimes it's all about owning all dial variations so I just had to find the orange dialed 6309-729B one day ;)
