'watch talk'
Hi guys, I have open this thread to present your collection and story about it?
For 10 years I collect more than 500 different men's cologne. Today, I think that my collection is worth about 50k.
What you collect? Worth?
Colognes ‘go off’ don’t they and end up smelling like cats wee?
Pics or it never happened.
Nope the collection is not worth £50k, you've spend £50k, sorry to give you the bad news
As already said it goes off eventually too
This thread stinks! And on a serious note..... 50k!

I collect Rolex warranty cards that have been left at the AD
I think this officially marks a new low point on the forum .
Dear OP, this part of the forum is called Watch Talk. The clue is in the name...
Simon
I collect useless watch threads.
+1, many thanks for your contribution.
Maybe the 50k is in Slovenian Tolar? That's €208, or £181 at today's exchange rate. So, maybe 3 or 4 bottles.
Hope the original poster has good fire insurance.
Also, 50k over ten years is 100 quid EVERY WEEK on aftershave. Are there even that many aftershaves in production?
I've got a small collection myself.
Hai Karate and Brut for the day.
Then Denim for the evenings.
Pure class.
Welcome cupcakes. That’s a serious problem you have there!
Unfortunately you’ve posted this thread in the wrong section, but hopefully it’ll be moved to the correct one.
In the meantime, this thread is probably one you can add your knowledge and experiences to — http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.php?406052-Aftershaves-any-favourites and maybe this one too... http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.php?358504-Taylors-Sandalwood
Priceless memories currently
Welcome to the forum!
Congratulations on your Cologne collection, 50k is a lot to have invested in smellies!
The biggest Cologne collectors over here seem to live in North Yorkshire and many of those plain speaking stalwarts have a few shelves full of this type of kit and will happily lob a few hundred sovs for a nice bottle of Cologne particularly after they have returned from a formation farting weekend competition. (It is popular over here, single handed post grip on tiptoe for maximum style marks)
Me, I collect empty milk churns but they are not worth as much as your stuff.
Happy collecting and have a great day!

... this is the correct response imho. OP, Glad to hear you have an expensive, illogical hobby collecting inanimate objects..! We’re not so different, you and I!
May I suggest basenotes forum for this topic, or the George and dragon sub forum on TZUK? Personally, I like hearing about collections away from watches as well

What else do you collect?

Tom Ford, end of !
Oh, maybe the nice oily Penhaligon stuff too.
^ guarantees “ooh you smell good” comments every day. And psychologically everyone likes or at least remembers someone who smells really really good!
Welcome to the forum op, and let's see some piks of your collection.

What about the 100% chick magnet that was Kouros. Need a big stick when you have a splash or two of that puppy on.

Old Spice, now that is a classic fragrance.
I tried English Leather once.
But that's another story.
Do you have a bottle of Brut 33?
My wife always like to smell the brut
I scent this is a wind up
this reminds me of that guy on watchuseek that posts in the "post what u just bought" thread and there is some lads buying 1000 dollah colognes and 1000 dollah chinos and handbags, and the odd AP or breguet if its a tuesday. and then theres some lad posting his 65 dollah nikes (that could be me though), but man i love that thread, its like a nuclear arms race in who could spend the most. not me.
Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
Summer fragrance now found, and stocked up on…
certainly. alas the arms race has settled down a bit. it was a previous thread to this one.

there was a poster i dont want to name in case hes on here, but jaysus he had some amount of disposable cash, tens of thousands a week. fair play to him, cant say i wasnt a wee bit envious!
Before CK1 there was...
I remember using this in that hot summer of '76, it is cooling, refreshing and for boys as well as girls.
Still have an old bottle of this, it is still smelling the same after thirty-odd years.
