Not sure about that. Any images of the caseback and let me guess, it's a limited edition.
What a cracking looking piece, and I'm not usually a fan of yellow!

See Time & Tide for more pictures.

Apparently not a limited edition. HODINKEE says: “Interestingly, this is not a limited edition but rather an addition to the main collection.”

Well to be fair to Omega its more interesting than some of the recent Ltd Editions but still just a variation on a theme.
I'll be fairly sure their AD's wont be taking that many calls to join a list today!
Lets play guess the price - I'll start £6580.00
Looks nice. The yellow is quite striking.
The caseback is nice and the strap is stunning, still not convinced by the dial, but then I didn't bother with that range after trying one on and realising that the cases were Ceramic. It was light as a feather, so I passed.
I think it's... unfortunate. I was looking forward to see what they would do re: Speedmasters, as I like them usually. That seems to me to be the 'worst' of all worlds. A DSOTM size/style case without the benefit of the advanced automatic movement, with a busy partially skeletonised dial. I'd rather a Speedster Professional with the quote on the back, and maybe a small dial modification. This just seems to be different for the sake of it.
They'd be much better off slimming down the automatic co-axial Speedmasters, as that would sell quite a bit more if it wasn't so thick IMO. Especially as their thickness is a design decision - IIRC the movement is not an especially thick one. Not a great showing from Omega this year, especially in comparison to Rolex/Tudor.
Actually like it, but that whole range is too big at 44.25mm, probably too thick if it's the same as the others and too light in ceramic
Looks a bit Taggy. Not necessarily a terrible thing but no for me.
Not for me.
Maybe you young whippersnappers will like it, but me? No.
I have to say I think it’s great
at first I thought - it does look good. then I saw a diameter 44.25mm. why, why???? what is wrong with you Omega?
I was about to kick off a thread then saw I’d been beaten to it. It’s definitely marmite isn’t it!
I’m not sure, not knocking it at all, just not sure. It will appeal to a different segment.
I fear the Zenith Skeleton hell tearing away at the legend of the El Primero , in this case the Moonwatch. However it looks imho a lot better than a Zenith Skeleton
I really like that....a lot! Not so keen on the 44.25 diameter though...too bloody big
I personally like it, the size is big but some of us larger people quite like that option :)

They had one in Brebt Cross, Omega boutique. Striking looking watch, real presence as they say. Personally I quite like it, but not sure I would buy one myself!
Just thought I’d post in case someone wanted to check one out. Assumed it’s been out for a while
If you read the Hodinkee hands on article, you'll see it is a slimmer watch - 2.5mm which is a huge difference. However it should too as it is not an automatic co-axial movement but based on the 1861.
The styling might be a bit too adventurous for most, but its definitely a different Speedmaster. I'd like to see an updated 3 sub dial manual chrono based on a co-axial movement.
The dial looks way to busy, aesthetically it looks to be almost dipping its toe into fashion-watch territory.
I love Speedies, but really not a fan of this iteration. Purely subjective and each to their own of course. :)
