How the hell did you forget???!!!
For me, and I'm sure for many others, its part of getting dressed in the morning.
Some quiet reflection on how you've arrived at this point is in order. And a weeks ban on posting here. Is it a first offence?
What's the preferred etiquette here?
Should i Hara Kiri myself as soon as convenient, or would a few hours of self flagulation be acceptable?

You should immediately turn a woodern spanking paddle and set aside an hour with me!
You won’t do it again ;)
I forgot to put my boxers on today so i am going commando...is that worse than failing to wear a watch ???
I think the only option is to get to the nearest jewellers immediately and purchase something!
I manage to leave the house at least once a month without a watch - annoying, but not the end of the world.
It's just a matter of time...
I don't believe it! Ditto!!
SWMBO has moved the watch box to a draw unit that's not next to the bedroom door... consequence didn't pick up a watch on the way out of the bedroom :-(
Went to my works office desk draw for my backup Citizen Solar only to find the batteries gone flat... Damn :-(
Times pretty much stood still on the IOM and OZ come to that Scott, sure you survived okay

In my desperation i have lashed a small novelty clock to my arm with sellotape.
I feel dirty, but slightly better about myself.
Maybe a little big for you? It looks like it overhangs your wrist a little, or it might just be the angle!
I've not forgotten to wear my watch for a good few years now, but I know that horrible feeling you get when you do!
I find I look at (for?)my watch a lot when I'm not wearing one - Perhaps I do all the time, but when it's there I don't notice!
M
I keep a cheapo in the glove box just for this scenario, when I'm in a rush in the morning I'll leave without any number of important things, the phone, keypass and watch are regulars.
Once I popped to a jewellers at lunchtime intending to get a Seiko 5 to cover the afternoon, came back with an Oris - spending fail!
Theres no chance of me ever going out of the front door without a watch..... besides I normally sleep with one on my wrist.
Done it a few times, and it just feels odd all day. Make up for it tomorrow by wearing a really special one!
I like not having a watch on. Wrong forum?
It's okay, this morning I put on two watches at the same time so it's all balanced in the cosmos
I think you need to buy 3 watches ASAP. One to leave at work, one to put in the car and one to wear today. There was a post that contained and article suggesting that 17k should cover it. Alternatively, tell the boss you’re ill and head off home.

Slippery slope that. Keep doing things like that on a regular basis and you will start assuming you don’t need a watch after all. Fool!
Fountain pen, watch, pocket knife ... I never leave home without these three.
And usually I have my vintage HP calculator (yay RPN) with me as well.
Oh, and clothes and such, of course

I feel for you. You will feel naked and useless. I am very sorry for you. That doesn't happen very often. Open a bottle of whiskey and drink the sorrow away.
